Summary
Several years after the war, as rumors swirl of a Death Eater resurgence, something or someone is harming Muggles and wizards in Yorkshire. Hermione, Harry, and Ginny leave the comfort of their Ministry offices, determined to stop it. They follow its trace to a cavern on the lands of an unknown owner, where they find themselves caught — but not alone.
A vicious attack cleaves souls from bodies and inflicts visions of the world's pain. Hermione is left dissociated, sick, and vulnerable.
Draco Malfoy, furious and reluctant, must do the one thing suggested to keep her alive.
This is a story about lies and love, dark paths, and the healing magic of touch.

Summary
It happens like this:
Hermione is hunched over her desk like some kind of Tolkien goblin, essentially deep-throating three Sambal fish tacos from Del Seoul in a desperate bid to finish a late lunch before her next appointment (she’d rather choke to death than be late) when a light knock on the open door makes her head snap up.
“Dr. Granger?”
Holy shit.
Holy shit.
Her previous nonchalance about choking to death vanishes when she sees who’s standing in her door and a piece of fish hunkers down for a long winter in her esophagus.
“Are you--shall I perform the Heimlich?” He asks, face familiar and concerned as he moves a step closer. “I don't think your face should be that shade of purp--”
She cuts him off by vomiting into the trash can.
Airway finally clear, she gulps a few greedy breaths. Her lungs expand and her face burns, and Hermione genuinely wonders if she’s hallucinating. She’s not prone to fantastical thinking even though she’s well acquainted with the fantastic, but...why else would Draco Malfoy be standing in front of her?
Malfoy, on crutches.
Malfoy, handing her a tissue?
Malfoy, but...not.
It’s complicated.

Bookmarker's Notes
One of those works where the ideas, the timing, the turns of phrase, the word choice all come together into a lovely bliss, so every moment (not one sentence is wasted) there's at least one thing to go "wow!" or "aww!" or "lolll" or "YES" or "oh what a good idea!" to. One to come back to, for enjoyment or uplifting, but also because I'm sure I'll notice new things to appreciate each time.

Summary
Hermione Granger constructed a predictable life for herself following the war. However, she realizes that within the constraints of control there is no room for want. In an uncharacteristic move, she flees her life in London to visit Neville, who works as a gardener at the Zabini Estate in Italy. The Estate, now a wellness retreat for elderly witches and wizards, is also the refuge of three of her Slytherin classmates that she has not seen since the war. This is a story of overcoming assumptions, judgmental garden gnomes, flowers, and the quest for contentment.

Summary
It’s the smell of it. Chemical. Bitter and sharp as a raw edge on metal. Just a hint of it as she passes him at breakfast — but enough to stop her dead, mid-step.
There is Wolfsbane in his tea.
