Emet-Selch stands with his head hung low, still and unmoving in the Chrysalis. Only moments ago, Elidibus was here to confirm a few facts: The world was once whole, the world was good, and his people had need of him then and now. Emet-Selch takes in a deep breath and lets it out slowly. He closes his eyes and contemplates his feelings. Envy. Yes, Envy. That was the feeling biting at his nerves. Elidibus must be in a special type of hell fighting through the fragments of memories already leaving him. But Emet-Selch is in his own.
