But Rocky uses another claw to grab a tissue and wipe at his skin. His touch is always surprisingly tender for being a rock.
“Did you think…” his voice trails off. “Did you think I was gonna -”
“No,” Rocky says immediately, cutting him off. “Grace sick. Grace hurt. But Grace no die.”
Grace nods. “I wouldn’t have gotten through this without you.”
Rocky dabs the tears around his eyes away. “Rocky would not be here without Grace.”

Summary
“I don’t need to be up early anyway.” Dennis explains, practical and literal as always, and wrapping an affectionate, soft, so soft hand around the back of Mac’s neck, letting it trail down his back and over his waist. It feels insane, like unreal, the way another person can be so nice. Dennis’s nose is hard and straight, cute in the lamplight, and he’s wearing enough chapstick that Mac can see where it starts and ends.
Or, Mac thankfully shows 0 outward signs of having a crush on Dennis, which is a good thing, because crawling into his bed like a puppy during a thunderstorm would blow his cover otherwise.

Summary
Fic prompt : How about a fic where Mac and Dennis have the flu at the same time? Dennis gets it first because he's *fragile* and Mac catches it a couple days later because of course Dennis has been laying all over him.
Maybe Dennis gets better faster, but Mac gets worse because he's so focused on taking care of Dennis. Cue Dennis noticing and putting a stop to Mac fretting over him and forcing Mac to relax and recover.
