Summary

Summary
Mikan Tsumiki is what one would describe a timid bunny. Kokichi Oma is what one would describe a wolf in sheep's clothing. One would expect the wolf to destroy the rabbit, right?
Except, they don't.
Mikan and Kokichi are roommates in a non-despair AU. But just because the world hasn't been plunged into despair doesn't mean it can't still lurk around every corner. And as their peaceful lives continue, more and more things seem to get out of hand- pasts coming to haunt them, decisions made being regretted, and a mysterious serial killer that only seems to be getting closer and closer. But, perhaps, one could bandage such wounds... with lies.A redo of an old fic of mine! I still love the story that I came up with for the original, but I was super disappointed re-reading the earlier chapters! Consider this me trying to do this story- and this crack ship that I'm way too invested in- justice!

Summary
Mikan Tsumiki is a new student at Hopes Peak academy. She, along with the rest of her class of 16, each go about their daily lives. Kokichi Ouma, on the other hand, is in a class parallel to hers. And it just so happens, that the two of them are roommates in the academy. As the two go through the school year, tension grows about a serial killer on the rise that has a very odd way of killing. In fact, news of this killer is even overtaking that of Genocider Syo. With tensions rising in the school, Mikan, Kokichi, and their classmates try to keep some sense of normalcy. But for how long can that last?
Okay I know that this is a really weird ship but I rp'd it and it's cute af just trust me on this. Sorry if it's a super weird crack ship, but yeah! I hope that you enjoy!

In her opinion, Mikan Tsumiki wasn't much to look at for many people. She was your typical aspiring medical student and graduate from Hope's Peak Academy as the former Ultimate Nurse. One night before finals week in her junior year of college, something (or, someone) falls from the sky that kickstarts the beginning of her new life, and truths about it that she never knew about.
Translation: Gem AUs probably aren't cool anymore, but I never was to begin with. As the tags say, this story will NOT just be Steven Universe told all over again except with Dangan Ronpa characters playing the roles, but will still use the same principles with one or two small tweaks courtesy of yours truly.
