After he was forced to rest for over exhausting himself using Foul Legacy Transformation, Lumine offered to help him recover quickly in her Serenitea Pot, but inside he met a certain consultant. Already hurting, Childe tried to keep his distance, although it was really difficult. Recovering while hurting was more than enough for Childe. Given order to obtain the Electro Archon's Gnosis Scaramouche has currently possessed, somehow he met again with Zhongli, this time he was searching for a family of a deceased Inazuman. Childe couldn't help but follow wherever this former archon would go. A lot of things happened between them. And still, he knew his heart belongs to none other than to the ex-Geo Archon.
