    But traditionally, it also meant unrequited love.

    A symbol representing Ichika’s love for Shiho. Blooming from her chest and sprouting out her esophagus like some kind of sick joke.

     

    But it wasn't a joke – this was all real, and the pain streaking down her windpipe was proof.
