Summary
On the night Konoha falls, Sakura lets go of Kakashi’s hand to save a dying child.

While Danzo transforms the Hidden Leaf into a militarised authoritarian state ruled through fear, surveillance, and sacrifice, Sakura becomes trapped within the hospital system she once believed existed to save people, forced to spend years preserving the regime that destroyed her life in order to keep others alive.

Somehow he had landed himself sixteen years in the future, learning things he probably shouldn’t have learned, and things he absolutely did not want to learn.
Things, such as the fact that he was married. To a medic, no less, with pink hair and green eyes, and she was quite possibly the least subtle, pushiest, loudest kunoichi in existence. He wasn’t sure what had occurred in sixteen years that had brought him to her, but he was finding it hard to believe. She was beautiful, certainly, but he had found few creatures in his life to irritate him as deftly as she did.
