As soon as the words left his mouth, he winced because he had absolutely been here before. Multiple times. He knew every inch of this room. Why had he said that?
Mydei let out a quiet, put-upon sigh. "Phainon."
Phainon straightened a little, then lifted a hand and mimed zipping his mouth shut, locking it, and tossing the imaginary key away. His expression said, See? Perfectly behaved. Mydei, unfortunately, looked like he believed none of it.
Or: Mydei has deadlines, Phainon has zero self-control, and the desk barely survives the consequences.

"Are they allowed in your bed?" The question comes before he can think twice. He flusters from his own words, squirming in his seat when greeted with Mydei's pointed silence. Phainon's lips open and close, hands balling into fists, "Sorry, that was—"
"If they're well behaved," Mydei interrupts, propping his elbow up on the bar, mirroring his pose, chin propped on his hand, "Are you?"
Phainon is, he thinks, eyes tracing the arch of his brow, the curved bridge of his strong nose and plush, pink lips. He could be so well behaved.
After a messy breakup, Phainon seeks out a change of pace. He might not be one of Mydei's regulars, but he wouldn't mind being something a little more.

He reached for the bottle, missed, and his foot caught on the edge of the mat. He tripped forward—right toward Mydei, who had sat down on the floor to adjust something. Phainon’s balance was gone. He tried to catch himself but only managed to twist weirdly.
His ass landed directly on Mydei’s face.
Full weight. Right on it.
For one horrifying second, everything froze. Phainon felt the heat of Mydei’s breath through his shorts, the firm press of nose and mouth against his ass. Mydei’s hands flew up instinctively, grabbing Phainon’s thighs to steady him.
Phainon shrieked and scrambled off, falling sideways onto the mat. “I’M SO SORRY– oh my god—! I didn’t mean– fuck—”
Mydei sat there, hair even messier now, face slightly red. But he was laughing. His laugh sounded scarily low, eyes gleaming. “Accidents happen.”
