Tony is 19 years of age when he is ambushed by Hydra once again. Hydra wasn’t done with the Starks yet. His alias under SHIELD protection had failed to keep him from their interest.
Now captured Tony has to make allies and uncover truths before he can be free once more. Maybe he wasn’t born to be a hero. Maybe he never wanted to be a hero. Unfortunately life doesn’t listen to what you want.

Tony had had worse ideas.

“Of course I have! There was the time with the leeches and the alien dragon and—.”
“And you had me there to assist you. To, as you so eloquently put it, ‘save your ass.’” Tony could hear Jarvis’ air quotes through his speakers. He really should have made his AI less sassy than him.
Two years into his relationship with Bucky, Tony decides to time travel back to 1941 to save his lover’s best friend, Steve Rogers, from dying of pneumonia. He just has to find Bucky first and convince him to fall in love with Tony all over again. He doesn’t count on falling in love with Steve too.
