Summary
Alexandria was supposed to be safe. High walls, quiet streets, and people pretending the world hadn't completely fallen apart. She had learned how to survive there long ago, spending her days patrolling with her bow and keeping enough distance to never get too attached to anyone.
Until the gates opened. Rick Grimes' group arrived covered in dirt, blood, and distrust, but among all of them, there was one person she couldn't stop looking at: a quiet man with tired eyes and a crossbow hanging from his shoulder.
Daryl Dixon looked like he didn't belong in Alexandria. Maybe that was exactly why she was drawn to him.
Between late-night runs, restless silences, survival, and a world that never stops taking, the two of them slowly realize that surviving becomes a lot harder once someone finally manages to get under your skin.
This story has connections to the show, I recommend watching it. Season 5 forward.
