"Illi…"
Her cheeks timidly flush, her hands slapping on her face to cover it. "I told you it was embarrassing!!"
"Is this us?" Ray beams leaning over to show Illi the drawing as if she wasn't the artist who made it, he points at the sketch.
"Ummm… Yes!"
"AWW, Illi!" Ray throws himself onto his girlfriend, hugging her into his chest. "I love when you draw me!"
Illi's cheeks flush a deep crimson. "You don't care?"
"Don't care? That you drew me? Of course I-"
"No! That I drew you… Like that."
Ray pulls away from the girl to look down at the sketchbook in his hands once again, He raises an eyebrow in confusion. "Like what? it looks pretty accurate to me."
"Ray…" Illi stares back and forth between her boyfriend and the drawing, The depiction of her sprawled out underneath Ray, and Ray- "I literally drew you as a hairy shirtless werewolf."
"Yeah, well maybe i can be that for Halloween next year."

Summary
“Are you here for a reason Lupin? I happen to be quite busy, no time for childish antics.”
“I can see that, studying for your O.W.Ls, right?
“Yes.” Regulus hissed.
“I don’t remember horcruxes being on my O.W.Ls, is there a new curriculum? I hadn’t heard.” Lupin said in an awfully insinuating tone. It was odd for Lupin to bring up horcruxes in specific, why not another one of the many pieces of magic in the book.Canon divergent set in 1977-1979 following Remus and Regulus in the early days of the war. Remus is sent to investigate the werewolves starting in sixth year rather than seventh and Regulus ends up taking the dark-mark early after hearing something particularly interesting from Slughorn. With the changes and challenges these two events lead to, the pair ends up working together to discover the inner workings of Voldemort's plans and form an odd partnership in hopes to thwart it.

Summary
"If I'm dead, and this is the afterlife, which one am I in? Is this Heaven or Hell?"
Regulus' heart grinds into his ribs as if it's trying to escape. The pounding is relentless as time seems to slow to a halt. He bites down on his tongue to have something else to focus his body on rather than its incessant shaking. It's an eternity before Evan finally answers the question completely.
"You're in the Good Place Regulus. You are okay, you're in the Good Place."
OR
Regulus awakes in the afterlife and discovers he's been assigned a spot in the Good Place, but he knows that can't possibly be right. His brother is here, his neighbor is trying too hard to get close to him, and his soulmate is too blinded by wanting to do the right thing to help keep his secret. If he wants to be able to stay and avoid eternal torment in the Bad Place, he must find a way to earn his spot. With the help of those around him it just might be possible, or everything may fall apart.
Currently on hiatus as Chapters 15-20 are undergoing editing.
