The defining moment of his childhood was when he realised that the wings weren’t to blame for all the damage done by almost.
Proof: there were other winged creatures—his identical twin, Wonweek, for example—who managed to exist without being at odds with the world. Wings and ruined lives didn’t travel on the same genes, apparently.In which: Sunday and his brother, Wonweek, are separated for the first time when they are accepted into different colleges.
Instead of his beloved brother, Sunday starts spending his time with his roommate, Aventurine, and the college's dean, Mr Wood, who has taken a special interest in him.

Summary
Freshly integrated into the Astral Express crew, Sunday finds himself on the troublesome end of a misunderstanding whilst perusing market stalls at the docks of a foreign planet. The young trio proves to be an unlikely set of allies as he attempts to evade incarceration.

The Express Crew's weekly game night starts off as nothing out of the ordinary. It is, much to Sunday's chagrin, another round of Marco Polo. He supposes that it's better than yet another round of Charades.
Regardless of the game's clear objective to evade him at all costs, Sunday finds it more than a little odd when not a single member of the crew responds to his calls, and he's very close to forfeiting entirely when a voice finally breaks the silence:"...Marco?"
"Polo."
