So here Xie Lian stood, heart still racing, feeling hot under his work apron. He hoped Hua Cheng wouldn’t feel too embarrassed about all this… it wasn’t his fault Xie Lian had listened for so long! He should have alerted him to his presence immediately, but he’d just been so caught off guard. He’d never heard Hua Cheng like that before, and he couldn’t help but wish he hadn’t just been on the other side of the phone.

Yuuri is pacing around the room now, gathering up his bag and his datapad. There’s no way he’s going to let Yuuri go down to the lab. What if he has a coughing fit and accidentally inhales poisonous fumes? What if he passes out and knocks a shelf of acid onto himself? “Yuuri, you can’t work, you’re sick.”
“Vitya, I’m fine!”
As soon as he says this, Yuuri dissolves into a fit of coughs.(Yuuri gets sick. Viktor cannot handle it.)
