Summary
Finney has been held captive by the Grabber for two years before any of the other boys are kidnapped. When Griffin is first brought into the basement, he is absolutely terrified, while Finney remains emotionally numb, enduring the abuse without resistance—a clear sign of how deeply traumatized he is. As Billy, Vance, Bruce, and Robin are brought down one by one, they notice Finney’s complete compliance and grow increasingly alarmed.
