Summary
When my grandfather came to Pandora, he never expected to fall in love with a native. Never would have dreamed to be apart of the first Avatars trained to enter the dangerous forest beyond the P.I.R.D (Private,Intergalactic,Research Department) He couldn't have imagined that it would set him on the path to join as one with the clan, but it did. My Grandmother told me once that he was the first of many of our people to join their rightful place in the clan as Eywa intended them to be. The humans from PIRD would leave their shells behind and transfer through Eywa to their Avatar bodies. With time our people's bloodlines mixed. Our people gaining traits that made us different than any other clan on Pandora. The planets peace came to an end when the great war with the sky people began. It was then, when my father came to the clan from PIRD, learning the clan ways through my mother. They became a mated pair just before Toruk Moktou began to bring the clans together to push back the RPD from whence they came.The war cost us much. We lost our Hometree, families, then my grandfather and uncle. But it gave us the sea, the Metkayina clan, and then with time our new Hometree. I am Aley te Teyek-Mo'an-Ni'awtu-ite and this is my story
