The people that now lived in the neighbouring houses would not notice the details, but they were a heap of uncultured louts. But Callista could see every detail that was wrong. The black hair was braided neatly but without charm. The skirt hung right above the knee, so she could see a sliver of skin between the hem and the top of the girl’s stockings. And the top… Callista felt herself blush. The girl had yet to learn how to cover her generous bosom in a way that was appropriate. "Your girlfriend is drinking my very expensive glass of pinot grigio and trying to pick me up at a terrible bar off-campus," he said.
