    Hijikata involuntarily tensed. No. Surely Kondo was not suggesting they team up? Gin was an idiot and idiocy was contagious, he had enough of them running around back home. If they kept recruiting idiots like this, one day Hijikata would be overrun by them. More importantly, Hijikata had an awful suspicion that he might end up either killing him or fucking him, both of which were equally terrible options. 

    (Or, the AU where Hijikata Toshirou, under attack by a mysterious new Joui faction, is forced to join hands with Sakata Gintoki and the rest of his Yorozuya crew. His sanity is hanging on by a thread, and Gin is holding a very large pair of scissors.)
