So he kept being Robb the Lord. Even if it meant being crushed by what was going on around him, even if his father always told him that leaning on others wasn’t dishonorable. He needed to prove to his bannermen he would have been a good Lord of Winterfell. He needed to prove it to himself and the bodies in the crypts, he, most importantly, needed to prove it to Lord Eddard, to make his father proud of him.

Or, the weight of being the Lord of Winterfell is crushing Robb, it's just fortunate that he has the perfect solution for it.

Summary
Robb and Theon used to be in love, until Theon betrayed him (as in canon).
Robb decides to go North and retake Winterfell and the North from the Boltons, instead of the Red Wedding happening. He’s losing the War of the Five Kings, and decides to retake his home instead, to boost morale.
Theon is trapped in Winterfell, as Reek, and entirely hopeless about his future when Robb comes to retake Winterfell, and rescues him.
It’s basically about them talking once they’re reunited, Theon explaining his side of the story, and Robb helping him heal.
Wrote this bc i love these two soooo much and they’re so tragic, I NEEDED just one more conversation between them!!
