Summary
When Riley is attacked by the Angel on his way home after a meeting, John rushes to his rescue. The Angel refuses to give Riley his blood, despite John's pleas. Knowing it will forever bind them together in irreversible ways, John changes him himself and brings him back to the rectory.
Riley decides to give his new life a chance - but only because John promises to help him and to keep him and his loved ones safe. The two have plenty to talk about and a connection neither of them can ignore. And who knows - maybe Riley can help John see the error of his ways...

Ash was practically born on Crockett Island, but she left with her mom when she was only two years old. Now, 30 years later, she's a recovering addict with nowhere else to go - so she returns to the island to live with her grandmother. She soon realizes there are a couple of people on the island who can relate with what she's been through, as well as a young - albeit strange - priest who actually seems to care.
