Kei’s not even the sub-leader. That position, again, went to the one member capable of stepping in and mending things when Euijoo can’t on his own.
As the eldest pack member, people might think it’s odd that Kei has neither of those responsibilities.
But being the pack omega comes with its own set of duties, obviously. People probably don’t realize it, but they all come to him when it matters.Or: Kei is the pack omega. Everyone comes to him when they need him, but they don't realize how badly he needs them too. (This is essentially an ode to Kei).

Kei had been on about this couples retreat for ages—the kind of thing Euijoo never would’ve initiated himself. Still, he liked Kei. Liked Fuma too. And despite how much he hated the phrase “double date” he didn’t mind the occasional hangout between the four of them. So when Nicholas found a rental house just outside Tokyo—quiet, near the coast, fully stocked—Euijoo didn’t put up much of a fight. It was cute, and private enough, theoretically, to make it worth it.

Dylan looked at his drink and then back up at Jun. Jun had the striking thought that Dylan looked really cute looking up at him, in Jun’s sweater, with a straw between his lips. He felt the urge to squeeze him or something. So he did with his arm that was wrapped around Dylan, who grumbled. Which was also cute. Jun was certainly teetering on tipsy to be having thoughts like this, or maybe it was just his prior heartbreak messing with his mind - which he had forgotten about for brief moments, sitting here. Maybe it was both. Or maybe it was just Dylan.
Or: Jun goes to the secret bar to drink away his heartbreak over Po and runs into Dylan.
