Summary
They lean into each other, pressing as close as they can get, America’s hands moving to run down her shoulders, to her elbows, forearms, then back up again. The attentive, kind touches make Russia’s tense muscles melt—they make her settle back into their moment, back home with America.
(When had America become home to her? Did she mean Alaska? She did not know.)

Alfred is horribly stressed about the state of America to the point he isn't able to care much for himself, specifically not sleeping and eating as much as he wishes, but of course a certain Russian noticed and decided to force the guy to eat and sleep (and comfort him).
this is lowkey a rant about current American politics I guess, I don't think Alfred here would be very happy with the current state of America but who knows. I'm pissed regardless so boom Alfred angst!
