Summary
[In spite of the chilling memories that greeted him on every corner, Sunny couldn’t find it in him to leave the house. He didn’t deserve to leave the house, not after what he did, nor did he have the strength to do so anyways. His father had left quickly, and his mother was skittish around him. He deserved that, too.
Sunny knew he might’ve been able to find comfort in Basil, but the thought of looking at the boy made him feel queasy. He had done what needed to be done and made things right again, because he was… kind. Basil was kind, to help someone as horrible as Sunny and stain his own hands.]
OR
Basil will do anything to help his friends, and when ‘anything’ isn’t enough, he’ll do even more than that— especially for Sunny. The only trouble is getting that through his adorably thick skull.

Summary
It was hardly a secret that Basil had eyes for the pale, dark-haired boy. The way he looked at him, how inseparable they were-- hell, he was on Basil’s mind constantly BEFORE he couldn’t so much as see him again. And it was true that absence made the heart grow fonder. Though… it might have been a bit more than just fondness.
Maybe even a bit more than love, if that were possible. He ached for the boy that was shying away from the world.

Kel missed his old friend group.
When Sunny is meant to be moving away the very next day, Kel goes to his house to check on him. He just wants to make sure he's alright in there.
What he sees he will never forget. Someone that had once been his friend is now lying there in his bed, covered in his own blood. There is a note left on the hardwood floor, one that explains the truth of what happened to Mari all those years ago.
