Summary
Blake is a single mother trying to get by in the city of Vale. Most people would think that being a single mom and a Faunus would be a double whammy, but she's managed to do fairly well for herself. She had a roof over her head and food on the table. Her job was steady, and she was close to having enough money for a down payment on a house despite all the setbacks of living in an overpriced apartment in downtown Vale.
The only thing missing? Companionship. Not just friends and family, but someone who loved her. Her last established relationship crashed and burned, and left her with a baby five years ago.
