Summary
It's the middle of summer when the world ends. Soap goes to sleep with the box fan on and wakes up to the world screaming and to a sky burned permanently red.
Or,
Soap spends his days starving and alone, Ghost wants to offer him a hand, and meat is meat if you don't think about it...Soap thinks about it.

Summary
Ghost isn’t a fool, he knows what a familiar is (knows where babies come from too, if that’ll earn him a gold star). He understands the concept and the execution of it, even dabbled in the magical theory behind it when he was starting out. What he doesn’t know, frustratingly enough, is for what reason under the sun there is one perched merrily in his garden.
Or Ghost comes to terms with the familiar that he didn't want but definitely wanted him.

Summary
There’s a ghost haunting the 141 common room. At least, Soap is about 80% sure there is, which is, in fairness, realistically about as sure as anyone could reasonably be about spooks haunting their workplace. He’s not stupid, he knows no one else is going to believe him if he brings it up. The scorn if he suddenly starts harping on about ghosties and ghoulies.
None of that negates the fact that there definitely is one though. Probably.

Summary
"And above all, avoid hunters. Humans that are aware that vampires exist and have been tasked with hunting them down. Their weapons are laced with silver and they have restraints that can hold a vampire down. If you get caught, you’ll be experimented on, tortured, or killed."
John MacTavish died in 2015, at the hands of AQ terrorists while on a deployment to Urzikstan. Posthumously awarded the Gallantry Medal, the Victoria Cross, and the Conspicuous Gallantry Cross for his heroic actions, his family and the army, along with the entire world, moved on. But what's not dead doesn't stay dead. Seven years later, John is adjusting to his new life as a vampire and finally makes the trip back to Europe, looking for someplace familiar to call home. But a simple walk in the woods leads to an encounter with the Ghost, a legendary vampire hunter only whispered about by others of his kind. Little do they both know, the experience will shatter their viewpoints on the world.
And drive Captain Price to drinking.
