Summary
The Paradise Club, a queer club in London that's loud as God's revolver and twice as shiny, is not a place Sherlock Holmes would under normal circumstances visit. If it weren't for the fact that he's very bad at seducing people and they happen to have a room where you can have anonymous sex with another man.
After he gets fucked by a charming young doctor, who had had a good run at the card tables, he finds himself falling in love.

Summary
I did not know that Stamford was introducing me to an adonis when I met Mr. Sherlock Holmes.
I have seen the works of Rembrandt, Michelangelo, Da Vinci in museums and in books. I had never expected to find myself face to face with a man that looked like he had stepped out of an oil painting. Yet there he was, most certainly real and alive for he had a hold on my sleeve and was talking enthusiastically about haemogloben.
Based on a tumbler post about what Jeremy Brett, David Burke and Edward Hardwike looked like when they were the same age as Holmes and Watson in Study in Scarlet. Also based on a running joke we have on one of the Sherlock Holmes discords I'm on that Granada Holmes and Watson were having sex less than a week after moving in because they were both sexuality questioning levels of hot.

The distraction in question is one that some less than reputable people have claimed can cured madness, but isn't very effective in that regard.

Yes, the title is a bicycle pun, you try thinking of a title when Bicycle Race by Queen gets stuck in your head.

The story published under the title of The Empty House had a great deal of truth in it. Ronald Adair was shot through a window by Sebastian Moran wielding an air rifle. Holmes sprung a trap to catch him in a vacant building that overlooked 221B Baker Street.
But I was not by his side in that silent, brooding darkness. Indeed, had it not been for the diligence of the British press, I may have been none the wiser. For Holmes, in his haste to conclude that dreadful business, had not seen fit to inform me of his return.
