A young girl with short black hair and with deep purple tips had her eyes closed, singing,
“Oh my Clematis. Hope bloomed from the abyss.”
She stood alone in a field, leaves blowing around her, when she heard another person and shot open her eyes to look at them.
“Oh my Clematis, always be by my side.”
Another young girl, with pink braids, fading into a light green. The girl looked over and smiled brightly.

Summary
Sanemi Shinazugawa is sick, and like the stubborn bastard he is, he refuses to get help from Shinobu. Oyakata-sama held a brief hashira meeting about this matter, and requested for someone to try and help him. Shinobu, as the kind soul she is, volunteered, but it's clear, Sanemi doesn’t want help from her, or anyone. So, Ubuyashiki had to choose someone at random.
“Giyuu, would you help Sanemi with his fever?” Ubuyashiki smiles calmly.
All eyes in that room turn on Giyuu, waiting for his response. Giyuu wanted to turn down the request, but it would be seen as rude and very impolite. What would Giyuu do anyway? He has no medical experience at all.
Giyuu took a deep breath and then,
“I’ll accept your request Oyakata-sama.”

The Hashira are split into groups to safeguard the Southern, Western, Northern, and Eastern Villages atop the treacherous Mount Chryos. Giyuu Tomioka, Sanemi Shinazugawa, Obanai Iguro, and Tengen Uzui find themselves stationed in a remote safe house, tasked with defending the Southern Village.
Amid the relentless battles, Sanemi's rough exterior begins to crack, revealing a burgeoning affection for the stoic Giyuu. However, Giyuu remains ensnared by the past, tormented by guilt over the death of his lost friend and past lover, Sabito.
His growing feelings for Sanemi are overshadowed by the belief that he is unworthy of love, having failed to save Sabito. As demons close in and tensions rise, both men must navigate their complex emotions. Will they find solace in each other, or will the ghosts of the past keep them forever apart?
