“Tenzou,” Kakashi muttered in his sleep and buried his face into Tenzou’s chest, his legs pressed up against Tenzou’s legs, his arm slung over Tenzou’s waist. The movement woke Tenzou slightly, even as gentle and warm as it was.
This wasn’t unusual–at least sharing a bed wasn’t unusual–but this kind of snuggling was definitely new. Tenzou often crashed alongside his senpai after they stayed up late together drinking or training, and they both found immense comfort in the feel of another human body relaxed beside them, even if neither would ever admit it. And if Tenzou had occasionally fantasized about doing more than just sleeping when he stayed over at Kakashi’s apartment, he would never admit that to his friend either. But now…there was this.
