Summary
What is the secret behind a strong, longstanding friend group? One that has seen the highest and the lowest points of each person, through teenage to adulthood? Of course, love is a significant and major answer. Love, which is seen in their everyday actions for each other. There is no denial there.
What about the secrets within, though?
Is it necessary that a group of best friends is completely open books for each other? Or maybe, just maybe, what keeps the friendships strong and alive are the deeply locked secrets themselves. Maybe it's the burial of confessions.
This is the story at the heart of friendships, with branches tangled in love. By the end of it all, will any of it survive without dooming scars?

Summary
All roads lead to Rome, Dunk has heard so many people say it, but hasn’t seen physical manifestations of it. When he steps out into the balcony, he sees a tall man standing there; in ridiculously stylized wide legged jeans with chains hanging around the pockets and a plain white shirt, buttons halfway undone. Dunk knows him, has heard so much about him, has watched him on his screen.
It doesn’t stop the awe from overtaking his body.
Joong Archen Aydin. He is leaning against the railing, hair cleanly framing his face, grazing the back of his neck, swooped prettily over his ears. There is a cigarette hanging between his fingers, his phone in another hand. Dunk stands frozen for a moment, so many emotions flowing through his body.
All roads lead to Rome. He doesn’t know why he thinks of that now of all time, but when Joong looks up from his phone to Dunk, he straightens up. Their eyes meeting is like a buried tale of mystics, lost to time or to change. He sees the glint in Joong’s eyes, the way his mouth falls open, just a little.

Summary
Every path, eventually, no matter how straight and no matter unidirectional, somehow, reaches a crossroad and forces you to choose a direction. Dunk’s life used to be simple. He grew up under his parents’ protective care and love, and let time take him wherever it wanted to lead. There wasn’t ever much to ponder over; even through doubts, worries, and insecurities, he hadn’t felt much conflicted.
That is, until he met him. There are moments one comes across that are life-changing, and they feel monumental, almost miraculous. But that wasn’t the case with Dunk. There wasn’t anything particularly announcing to him that his life would take a completely different direction. Rather, meeting Joong felt like the first time he ever settled in, like the first breath of fresh air he had, like he was looking at the clear sky filled with stars out of the polluted metropolis of Bangkok.

Summary
Sicheng comes and goes a couple more times in the month, but nobody makes any snide remarks towards Yuta. They perhaps have taken a hint . . . or perhaps they have more gripping things to deal with.
The archived chat stays untouched: spiders collected in the room butterflies once flew in. It gets quite concerning because WayV still performs as five. In the middle of the night, when Yuta finds it hard to sleep, he wonders about it. What is crueler? Letting the group be seen without a person when he's right there or having the person perform to a list of songs he's been excluded from?
The last time something like this happened to Sicheng, Yuta had hugged him so close to his chest that he was drowned in the splatters of Sicheng's broken heart. He wonders if Sicheng has anyone to hold him close now.

The fancon is in two days, and Dunk feels a little impish and jittery: a feeling he cannot shake away. It only gets worse when his boyfriend posts a video of him kissing his cat while being shirtless.
Dunk cannot take his eyes off of it, but also, something tugs at his chest, because he is supposed to be Joong's favourite kitten.

Summary
"Is there something you want to tell me, Jisoo?" he heard Seokmin ask, the hoarseness in his voice, the broken tone of his question catching him slightly off-guard. Ache blossoming like flowers inside his chest, he breathed in and out in an attempt to not entirely fall apart right then and there; the other man sounded so vulnerable, so aghast that when the guilt and shame he tried to bat away earlier came hurtling at him in waves, he allowed himself to drown.
"Is there something you want to know?" he drawled out, grimacing when his sentiment came out like a whimper. Lump forming at the base of his throat, the slimy fingers of silence that had him chokehold before had transformed into a knife plunged deep in his stomach, dread and regret filling his veins, cold and metallic, entirely unprepared to see the anguish in his lover's face when he finally turned to face him.
When Seokmin asked Jisoo if he still loved him, he shouldn’t have said yes– between lonely nights and forgotten anniversaries, the last thing he should do was kiss his lover. But after a failed attempt at infidelity, his love for him grew quite immensely.
