  Summary

  A sentient android of the year 3043 reflects on his relationship with gender, as well as his experience with sexual encounters as a more clunky model of robot in a world of humans and advanced androids. After the factory he was employed at was shut down, he found himself feeling lost. Finding a purpose for oneself after you’ve been told all your life that you belong to a company, and you’ll work till your servos give out is no simple task. It is often presumed that older AI’s can’t feel fancy things like emotions, but after years of experience, Xev1 would beg to differ.
