Several weeks after the events of Pieces of Broken Memories, the residents of Pelican Town are doing their best to get back to life as usual. It's not the easiest thing to do, but you can't quit living just because terrible things have happened. The curse may be broken, but the after-effects are still being felt. Strange dreams and stranger events are happening to everyone touched by the dark.
Sebastian is searching for answers. Kat is hunting monsters. Abigail's trying to do both.

On the morning of his thirtieth birthday, Sebastian wakes up with a killer migraine. What the hell had happened the night before? Why does he get a strange feeling in his stomach when he spots the reclusive farmer from Castlewood buying a new shipping bin from his mother? Why does NOBODY seem to really know anything about this woman, even though she's lived there for six years? And what's with the weird ring that he found in his bed?
A twist on the "farmer moves in, falls in love with a villager, and then things happen" theme. In the game, the wizard states that he sealed the way to the witch's swamp because he was afraid for the villagers’ safety. Do we *really* know how the shrines work? What might a villager accomplish if they made their way to the witch's hut and the dark shrines within? Let's find out.

To paraphrase what I said in a comment on the main story, Pieces of Broken Memories is twisty and complicated to write, and sometimes I just want to write something that's a little more straightforward. This was a gift that I gave to me, because Pieces of Broken Memories is rather intense at times, and I needed to cheer myself up. This is how I amuse myself, and I decided to go ahead and share in case it amuses anyone else. You can most likely read this without reading the parent work if you decide that you need something ridiculous in your life. It's completely off-the-wall, and I'm not sorry. Have fun!
