Summary

And before the street begins…”The poem comes easily into his head, flowing out of his mouth like a waterfall, images dancing just behind the mist.
A huge silvery bird, gliding on the sweet-scented herbal wind. The sun, red and glowing, shining on the soft, pale grass.
They dance just out of reach, tantalizingly close, and yet so far away.
“... to cool in the peppermint wind.”
OR
Siri and Reggie are very cute and tiny and don't need anything other than each other to survive the Black Family. Also, Sirius reads poetry and realizes life lessons while locked in a trunk and Regulus is generally very cute and lisps, because why not.
A heartbreaking one-shot about the Black Brothers as tiny children.

Sirius Black arrives at Godric's Hollow on Hallowe'en to find his friends dead but his godson miraculously alive in the ruins of their family home. Harry is now his responsibility, and he will do everything in his power to keep him safe and give him the best life he can.
