Kit narrows her stare and taps her foot against the floor. “Fine.”
“What?!” Everything has moved so quickly that Jade feels like she’s experiencing actual whiplash for how much has happened in the past two minutes. The twins were dramatic at the best of times and outrageous at the worst. Yet, somehow they’ve topped everything they’d ever done in this very moment.
