    Then, Damon’s fingers twitch again. His lashes flutter before his eyes crack open, unfocused at first, then slowly finding Noel’s face. A weak grin pulls at his mouth, crooked and unmistakably him even through the pain. “Knew you liked me,” Damon rasps.
