Summary
For Freminet, taking the brunt of what he thought was an acid attack aimed towards Spina di Rosula's boss was nothing more than a split second decision. He wouldn't call himself a hero by any stretch of the imagination, and he wouldn't say he led his life with noble and virtuous intentions either...
...but when the urge to help someone comes to him, he ponders little over it. That's just what a good person would do, and Freminet desperately wants to be a good.
(Still, maybe he should have paid more attention to just what was being splashed.)

Freminet dissolves into water. That really should have been the end of it, but it seems like the ocean wasn't keen on letting him go yet.

Summary
"Thanks for being here," Edgar said with a tone of genuineness, unable to hold eye contact with the purple-haired boy sitting next to him.
Sandy had been dozing off the entire time, but he managed to process Edgar's words for a moment, forcing himself to raise his head and glance over him with a small amount of confusion. He never thought those set of words would ever come out of his mouth.
"What do you mean?"
No reply, his blue eyes simply shut once more. Sandy could see his lips twitch into one of his usually rare smiles, and it made his heart warm up in an instant.
They sat in silence, which to Sandy was comfortable. But to Edgar, it was heartbreaking in a way.
