Summary
The image flashes back from Vi’s memory — Caitlyn lying unconscious on the hospital bed, her head half wrapped with thick bandages, hair still crusted with blood. The tubes in her arms, the smell of disinfectant, the muffled intelligible voices in the background, Vi aching and exhausted sitting by her shoulder to watch her breathe for hours.
Healing is a slow process, inside and out.

Summary
an explosion in piltover leaves too many questions unanswered that caitlyn refuses to let slip away which lands her in an ambush in the undercity. shes injured and flees just to black out and wake up in some handsome zaunite's bed. what caitlyn learns of the life here in zaun from Vi and her family opens up more problems and even scarier threats than she thought possible as war peeks over the horizon between their two cities.
she cant do any of this alone, but how can she convince a family thats been so repeatedly wronged by piltover to help the caitlyn kiramman prevent a war so fueled by prejudice and blind hatred and greed?
a story of what we can endure, must endure, and refuse to ever endure

Summary
"You don't know shit about being in here." The other woman shot back even fiercer this time, her words straight out dangerous.
To that comment, Caitlyn felt speechless for the first time, as though she had no professional reply to use anymore. She opened her mouth instinctively again, but quickly closed it back and rubbed her temples thoughtfully.
A charged tension filled the silence.
"Violet, I am going to win your trial. I promise you. But, there's only two things I am asking you to do." The blue haired woman broke the silence.
Vi didn't look surprised or even hopeful at her attorney's words. She heard this before. A shit ton of times. Yet... the assurance and confidence the woman said those words with made Vi's ears perk a tiny bit.

Violet Lanes looks like a lost cause. Everyone thinks she'll rot in prison. And even she does so. Until... a new attorney is assigned to her case... and suddenly? Vi feels hopeful again. Maybe she can really win the trial this time. And maybe... she can win a little more than just the trial...

Summary
All Vi can see is blue. What can she feel? Absolute pain, but the pain is starting to fade. She can hear voices panicking. What’s going on? They have to leave before enforcers show up. She tries to sit up, but then the pain returns and someone pushes her back down, then there is pressure on her shoulders. Someone is holding her down. She hears someone talking and really tries her best to focus on it.

Our story picks up at the apartment explosion, but the characters are aged up. Vi is hurt in the explosion, Caitlyn is there to save the day and Vi's life.
