Summary
Sirius and Regulus Black were shaped by the exact same events, and yet they grew to be very different people. Two sides of the same coin. One too harsh and one too soft. One too loud, one too quiet. Everything they went through, they went through together. The pain changed them, and they wonder if they’ll be opposites forever.When Regulus defects from the Death Eaters, it seems like there might be a chance for the Black brothers. But in order to start a new life, they must first work through their trauma, destroy horcruxes, defeat Voldemort, and survive the war together.

To my brother,
I know I will be dead long before you read this, but I want you to know that you were right. Our parents were wrong. I realise this now, and I understand why I must not go down the path they expect of me.
I am supposed to receive my Dark Mark the day after the one on which I am writing this. However, I plan to refuse. I know I won’t survive saying no to the Dark Lord, but I hope that maybe you’ll be proud of me when you find out what I did. I rebelled, finally, just as you were always waiting for me to.
I miss you, Sirius, and I can’t help but hope that you’ll miss me a little bit too.

“Only because it’s true,” Peter agreed, shrugging lightly. “It’s not fair to expect Sirius to choose between you, Regulus. James was there for him during some really tough times. He pulled him out of depressions and tantrums repeatedly, despite his protests. He can reach Sirius when no one else can. Do you really want to take that away from your brother?”

Summary
Regulus has always known he's destined to drown. He feels it deep in his chest, past his rib cage, nestled somewhere behind his organs. He feels it in his arm when his mother squeezes it a little harder than a mother should. He felt it, the water rising in his throat, when his brother slipped out the window and into the night. He often wonders if it'd be easier to just let himself sink.
He often wonders if he has a choice.
Regulus gets sent back to school with a mission from the Dark Lord himself— find the “beast in the chamber” and claim its fangs without killing it. But when a certain curly-haired bespectacled boy asks for a rather large favor, everything suddenly gets a lot more complicated.

Summary
It's here again. The Quidditch World Cup, the most anticipated event for fans and players alike, once every four years. And this year, it means everything to one infamous James Potter, the star Chaser for Puddlemere United.
This is his chance, his once in a lifetime opportunity to prove himself and secure his standing in the profesional Quidditch world. And it certainly helps that he has been summoned no only to play for the English team in the Cup as a Chaser, but to act as team captain as well.
There's only one flaw in his plan. The Seeker appointed to the team is no other than Regulus Black. The star Seeker for the Montrose Magpies, unbeatable, and insufferable. And James hates him the most.
Or, it's world cup time, and it couldn't pass by without a Jegulus Quidditch world cup fic.
