Summary
"Just follow my lead and you´ll be fine!" Kaminari gave her one of these cheeky grins, the ones that she had gotten used to more and more without realising. They felt familiar in some way, like the sight of his messy blonde hair in that old bookshop. Only that this wasn´t a meeting in between old books anymore. This was not an evening spent reading in the last beams of the autumn sun, the smell of coffee hanging in the air. This was dangerous.
Kyouka Jirou´s job as a pro hero is by far not as interesting as she would have thought. In between nightly patrols and bad payment, she finds herself wishing for something exciting.
When she finally takes on her first big case, her wish is fulfilled but soon enough she has to realise that working undercover in one of Japan´s biggest crime organisations and pretending to be someone else can be a stressful challenge.
Lines get blurry when the nights are long.
And before long she has to differentiate between who she is and who she plays, her mind telling her to be careful of how much she gets involved. Because feelings are the last thing she needs right now.Bookmarked by Arceangel
