Summary
Everyone who knew Luz knew that it had been a lifelong fantasy of hers to live life like a romcom. Low and behold, one (seemingly normal) day, Luz spots a stunning girl who just happened to be waiting at the same bus station as her (I spy with my little eye… Amity?). Now Luz, having a bit of a main character moment, thought she would finally get to live out her life as a high school romance! Alas, her (very temporarily) inflated ego was very quickly squashed like an ant beneath some hurried businessman’s Dr. Martens. Why is this, you ask? Well, the answer is plain and simple: the other took one look at Luz before running off. Mind you, Luz was aghast at this development but given her optimistic persistence (and perhaps a pinch of adrenaline from that little main character moment from earlier), Luz is determined to weave her story with that of another.

She took a deep breath and calmed herself, before she gazed into those golden hues, which held an interesting flame in its midst. It almost distracted Luz from saying what she was going to say. Luckily for her, she was a master of composing herself and adjusting to every situation. So she straightened her back and took in a deep (shaky) breath before she spoke.
