She wakes in the night, thighs slick, face burning, her head thick with animal dreams. Then the day comes, and when he touches her, a mere brush of fingers, suddenly they are Petyr’s hands again.
The solution they arrive at is this: two thick ropes, attached to the posts of her headboard, tied around his wrists.
