“Thats a rather strange outfit” added Hiroto, which got him a side eye from Ryuji, *as if we’re the one to comment*. He giggled at the stare but quickly turned back to a serious expression.

It was a quiet day in the region of Mondstadt. A place which was once plagued by biting cold and turbulent winds, now docile. The breeze rolled over the tumbling hills, helping dandelions soar in the sky. Children ran around, smiling and laughing without a care in the world. Some adults toiled as they worked, while others merrily drank away. All and all, the people of Mondstadt lived joyfully under the Knights of Favonious’s protection. Yet, peace taken by blood could not remain forever. As soon the wind would howl like banshees, as the people ran and pleaded for mercy. As it was almost the day, of the Anemo Archons Reckoning.

Venti gets corrupted when the Traveler spooks Dvalin, this effects not only him, but the element of Anemo as a whole. Overall, stuff goes down.

Summary
Inside the tower, there’s a heap of something on the floor that Jean quickly realises are feathers— wings in fact, large and white.
Frantic, she immediately crouches. As she does so, however, Venti finally stirs. When he next opens his eyes, looking at her, his eyes immediately widen. Then, in a too-small, too-uncertain voice, raspy and shaky, he whispers—
“Gunnhildr?”
Venti gets de-aged after a close call with Decarabian's god remains in Old Mondstadt. Jean (and others) care for him in the aftermath. In the process, Jean walks the same steps and reconnects with her ancestor before her.
