“You wanna learn how to swim?” I float towards him and he nods. Ironically enough, it doesn’t take much time for him to learn how to float.
As we’re floating on the water together, i feel compelled to say: “You’re the only person I’ve brought to this place.”
I don’t know exactly why this is so important to me. Maybe he does, because he stops floating and stands right in front of my floating head. He smiles at me and says, “I’ll keep your secret.”
He never asks about Gale. Or why he hasn’t been here. At times like these, i realize the difference between them.
