Summary

“I’m sorry” Vi whispered
“Violet, your people need you. I need you” Caitlyn begged.
Vi looked down at her hands, trembling “I’m sorry, but I’m not your Violet. Not the one you want. Not the one you need. My people and you, are better off without me” She swallowed hard “I’m nothing but a monster”
“That’s not true” Caitlyn said, reaching for her again.
Vi pulled away “I killed my sister. I killed my parents. I destroyed everyone I ever loved. And hell, if my father were still alive, maybe your mother would be too.”
“Don’t do this,” Caitlyn said, her voice sharp now “Don’t leave me again.”
Or: Captured by the Noxian Empire and reduced to a slave, Vi is finally freed from her shackles, only to find herself empty.
She remembers nothing. Not her name. Not her past. Not even the face of the woman who once was the love of her life.
The only thing she remembers is the monster who destroyed her family. And she will not rest until she gets her revenge. With fire and blood.
The problem is… some monsters are far closer than we imagine.

Summary
At the Velvet Curtain, people pay for fantasy, control, comfort, pain, relief.
The arrangement is supposed to be simple: professional, negotiated, contained. Instead it becomes a slow collision of obedience, trust, class resentment, and the kind of tension that builds long before either of them is willing to touch it. Outside the Curtain, Piltover is busy congratulating itself for caring about Zaun.
