He opens his eyes, and stares up at the canopy of the four poster bed he's in. It takes a second, his vision is a bit blurry, but it clears up quick enough.
Two seconds.
Three seconds.
Four seconds.
Part of Jason keeps the count going, while the rest of him kind of just...seizes. Because he knows this canopy. He knows the the posts it's attached to. He—fuck—he knows the notch in the bottom left post he'd put in it when he'd stolen one of Bruce's batarangs when he was twelve and thrown it around like the stupid kid he'd been.
This was Jason's room.
Or, the one where Jason gets zapped with magic, wakes up in his teenage body, and decides to let the timeline know exactly how fucked it is. He also becomes the president of the Tim Drake Appreciation Club.

Damian's always seemed older than he actually is. No matter how small his body is, the moment you look into his eyes you see the weight of years he hasn't yet lived; the weight of everything that happens while growing up an al Ghul. That weight tempered Damian into steel. And when you look at that steel, when you see the almost preternaturally self-reliant kid standing in front of you, it's all too easy to forget that weight comes from years of abuse. Because Damian is a kid. And while it's not fair to him to only see him as an abused kid, it's just as unfair to only see him as the thing Talia tried to create; the weapon in her ongoing war/insanely unhealthy obsession with Bruce. Damian is all of that, and so much more. -

Tim knew that following around Batman and Robin while only armed with a camera was... perhaps not the best idea, so he decided he'd take a knife along. But he didn't have a combat knife, and he didn't want to use the kitchen knives because Mrs. Mac used those and would probably notice if he either forgot to give one back or dulled it somehow, because it's not like he knows how to sharpen knives...
But he does know that there's a few knives in his parents' artifact collection no one would miss! He'll just grab one of those!

One moment, Red Hood was fighting with Black Mask, listening to the idiot go on about how he'd murder Jason long before he'd become a problem. The next... Jason was ten years in the past, nine-years-old, and fending for himself on the streets of Gotham. Bruce might not know about Jason yet in the timeline, but Batman was the only one who could protect him against Black Mask.
If only Jason didn't hate him so much...
