Work Text:

You originally had an idea of attending the annual library Halloween Costume party as a couple characters from Twin Peaks (him as Agent Cooper, and you as the iconic Audrey Horne) but after he'd shown you a picture of him dressed like some kind of neo-classical vampire, you pleaded for him to do that for the party, and you'll find something in your closet close enough to match it: even though you already knew he'd be the one most of the guests will look at when the two of you arrive.

You never were much for social circles, and you weren't devastatingly beautiful enough for the spotlight, but with your aunt and uncle being senior management at the library who often took care in hosting/organizing these events, you were often asked by your Aunt to at least attend the ones you'd be able to with your work schedule, and since Halloween was on a weekend this year, you RSVP'd yes for you and your plus one, Jeong Yunho.

You never liked rubbing shoulders with most of the tiresome patrons who were quick to ask about your weight (rude) and when you were finally going to get married and have children with that 'nice young man on your arm' (despite having your ovaries removed at eighteen after half a year of painful cramps turned out to be caused by tumors) but then again, that topic wasn't exactly appropriate for cocktail conversation.

Even one particular old biddy made a quip about you 'robbing the cradle' at the first Fall Formal you invited him too. However, her being in her sixties with a thirty four year old 'housekeeper' who is living in her 'guest room', she could keep her baby-pink painted lips closed as far as you were concerned.

Luckily, Yunho cared more about you then their opinions so he never broached that more sensitive subject with you: at least, not until one evening in June he stopped by after his shift to surprise you, only to find you curled up on the living room floor in tears after getting back from the second baby shower you'd been invited to that month. After back to back presents of pastel baby clothes, baby themed games and little pink and blue decorations you couldn't help but break down as soon as you walked through the door.

Yunho picked you up and held you tight as words spilled from your mouth, between sobs, that you did have regrets that you'll never be able to experience having a child of your own, and the fear that he just might...

.... only for him to help you up, walk with you into the bathroom, make up a hot bath with some of your lavender Epsom salt, and while he undressed you assured you that you mean the world to him, and that as long as you had each other, he would be the happiest man on this Earth... and hearing those words made you feel like he very well could be the one .

So that Saturday afternoon, dressed up in a crushed blue velvet top with a plunging neckline and bell sleeves, a basic black midi skirt and a pair of black heeled boots waiting for you near the front door (cause your weak ankles don't play nicely with standard heels) you curled your hair with a hand me down curling iron while you waited for Yunho to stop by your place after he got ready.

You had also planned a surprise for him later that night, asking him to move in with you when you returned to the apartment... praying your aunt would have enough help with cleaning after the party to need anything from you, the two of you would be home free.

As you stopped to touch up the berry colored lipstick you planned on wearing tonight, you heard a knock on your apartment door. You shut off the curling iron setting it on your dresser before you left your bedroom, crossing the beige carpet to the front door where you unlock the two main locks plus the door chain, before letting him in.

Standing before you, dressed in a long black dress coat, white linen pants and a starched white button up shirt with a matching lace cravat, he looked like the perfect Victorian era vampire, his blonde hair and piercing eyes completing the look well enough on their own, but as her eyes panned down his lovely frame, a not so hidden detail soon had her full attention. His hands were blessed with their own adornment: a pair of black lace gloves tied with thin black ribbon at the wrists.

Taking one of his hands in both of hers, the texture of the fabric against her palms sent chills down her spine. Giving him a quick kiss, she touched his face. "You look very handsome, Yunho. That's all I'll be saying about how good you look, because if I say anything more, we won't be leaving this apartment." She brushed his cheek with her thumb before letting him go.

"I wouldn't mind that," Yunho smiled, flattered by the compliment. "The party food they usually provide is... okay, and some of the patrons there are rude to you."

"They're not intentionally rude, they just... have a penchant for being nosy, and need to know everything about anyone in their general proximity." You leave it at that, but gesture to the couch as he enters, closing the door and relocking the deadbolt. "Make yourself comfortable, dear. I still need to finish doing my hair before we leave if I want these curls to hold up."

You turn and walk back to your room, turning the curling iron back on only to see at the corner of your eye that he followed you, and is now standing in your bedroom doorway.

You just chuckle at him before you go back to working on your hair before finally saying, "You should probably stay close to me when we get to Madison House: I'm sure you'll cause quite the stir amid some of the ladies there, like Miss Baby Pink: she just might ask you if you have any experience in house-keeping. " You rolled your eyes as you mentally counted down from five before releasing a section of your light brown hair, inspecting the curl between two fingers.

'Good enough,' you thought as you powered through the last sections of hair at the back of your head, before turning the iron off for good, and spritzing these newly acquired curls with non-aerosol hairspray. Bad memories of show choir and musical theater performances in high school, traditional hairspray lrft you with a bad taste in your mouth, in more ways then one.

"May I come in?" Yunho inquired after a moment of silence making you look over at him, a shy smile on his lovely face.

"You've been here before, dear: why the sudden decorum?" You reach over to unplug the curling iron, but don't wrap it yet since the metal is still hot, and pad across the floor, leaving only a few inches of space between you and him.

"Well, um... isn't it a vampire custom that they must be welcomed before they enter someone's residence?" His eyes brightened, as if hopeful that he earned a few points for researching vampiric folklore, only for you to gently kiss him on the cheek.

"Yes, dear." you whispered, "I appreciate the commitment to the character, however I've already welcomed you into both my apartment and my bedroom, if you remember."

When you stepped back, the pink tint that colored his ears earned a point in your favor as you went back to the dresser to retrieve your purse: a simple black fabric clutch, that held some tissues, wallet, mints, phone, lip balm and the spare key to your apartment hidden in a zippered compartment. "I know you don't usually see me carrying a purse, but I'll need it for tonight. Plus, I have something to give you later when we get back."

"Oh, I have something for you as well: it's kind of why I asked you to wear something blue for the party." He checked his coat pockets for a moment before eventually retrieving what he'd been looking for what looked like a blue velvet jewelry box.

"Are you going to give it to me, or..." you look at him still standing in the doorway, before he finally approaches you.

"I was hoping to put it on you." Yunho's blush grew a little more noticeable, but he continued. "I did get some practice with it, but I hope it doesn't snag my gloves."

"You should be alright, dear..." you smiled turning back to the rectangular mirror above your dresser, setting the purse down. "Go ahead, put it on me." You chuckle under your breath at this gesture until Yunho's left hand touches your shoulder.

"Close your eyes, baby." His voice became a low purr that caused heat to pool in your stomach. Biting your lip, you close your eyes for him as a moment of silence feels like agony with each passing second, before the feeling of a cool chain gently drapes around your neck. You open your eyes when he tells you to, revealing a medium sized dark blue imitation sapphire heart wrapped in a rhinestone border held with a silver chain.

"Yunho... you actually bought me a replica of the 'Heart of the Ocean' necklace even though we've only gotten through the first half of Titanic when we watched it?" You touch the surface of the heart shaped stone, before looking back at him.

"We normally don't get too far into any movie when we watch them together." He stated the obvious with a glint in his eye."Yet, I ordered this necklace for two reasons: one, I thought you'd look amazing in blue, which I guessed right. And two, after we leave Madison House, stopping for Chinese as our custom: once things settle down for the evening you could wear that, and only that..." His expression finished that sentence more perfectly then words could.

"If we keep this up, we won't be making this party, and my aunt and uncle are used to me showing up early. Besides, those gloves are already doing things to me, so-" you take a deep breath in, exhaling slowly, "I just want to get through this upcoming party so you and I can enjoy our evening with no distractions of any kind. Alright, dear?"

Wrapping the cord of your curling iron around it, you tuck it into one of your dresser drawers. Once you close it, you turn to feel Yunho give you a simple kiss, the taste of his lips making you second guess the once set plans in your mind... the smile you get in return making it clear that Yunho knows you all too well.

"Alright, baby... we'll attend the Halloween party. But once we get back in your living room, I get to decide what we'll do next. Deal?" The words he spoke combined with his appearance made him fit the part of a vampire aristocrat almost too effortlessly.

"It's a deal, baby." You smile as the heat pools between your thighs. "Just let me use the restroom and get my shoes on first. Then I'll grab my purse and keys and we'll be on our way."

-------------------------

An hour into the festivities, and things have been going as smoothly as expected: the four senior members of the Polish club/barbershop quartet had sung their standby tune of Lida Rose from The Music Man after the prayer was said to start the festivities. While they performed the tune as well as always, your grip on Yunho's hand tightened with the memory of your aunt telling you the morning of the Picnic at the Square in late June, that their usual singer for the accompanying melody of Will I Ever Tell You?, Miss Esther, was unable to be with them due to being rushed to the hospital due to heat exhaustion and you could easily sing it with them... even though you haven't performed in nine years since you graduated, and you never rehearsed with them beforehand.

"Oh, it's just a little song, Angela ..." She cajoled you in her sing-songy way of pleading. "Besides, you know The Music Man like the back of your hand. You'll be fine, don't make such a drama!"

So without your uncle to help dissuade your Aunt Eleanor this time, there you stood... wearing a gray tank top, worn blue jean shorts and tennis shoes, Yunho's jacket tied tightly around your waist to hide your stomach: sweating from heat and nerves, as the four men in pastel colored seersucker suits and straw hats sung for the attendees.

While you managed to get through your verses well enough, despite only one working microphone for the five of you standing on that stone gazebo, it was the most embarrassing moment you've had in some time.

You did receive a few compliments from those who actually listened, but you couldn't wait for Yunho to get you out of there as fast as possible, which he did to your gratitude

Thankfully, the quartet stuck to their rendition, letting you breathe easier as they bowed to the smattering of applause that reverberated through the sparse common room of the Madison House: a house that got saved by the Historical Society in the late nineties, after it was discovered to be part of Ohio's connection to the Underground Railroad: so it got refurbished to its former glory, and was used for council meetings, private events and the occasional library holiday function.

The party proper was set in the dining room, which had a few orange and black balloons in the corners, some vintage jack-o-lantern votives were scattered around the food and dessert table, and the punch table was draped with an orange vinyl tablecloth with large black confetti in the shapes of black cats, witches on broomsticks, and other shapes that suited the spooky season evenly scattered across the surface. And a large cut-glass punch bowl as the centerpiece that held a fizzy orange punch with scoops of sherbet floating on the surface, with matching ladle, its curved handle pointing towards the stacked orange and black paper cups not in too high of a stack to be deemed perilous... Aunt Eleanor was written all over this room.

"My aunt clearly spared no expense with the party planning budget." You murmured to Yunho using your best Richard Attenborough impression, making him giggle.

"Behave, Angela..." Yunho teased, knowing you never cared for the way your aunt insisted on introducing you by your full name, despite your loud protestations on being called just Angie since you were in grade school.

"If you keep that up sweetheart, you won't be getting your present tonight, or anything else I had in mind." You filled one of the cups with punch, handing it to Yunho so he wouldn't get anything on those gloves, hoping they'd go unstained for as long as possible.

Spotting a pair of elder library patrons,Mr. and Mrs. Roberts, approaching the punch station, you approach them first. "Hello, Mr. Roberts, Miss Linda... how are you?"

"Doing well, young lady," Mr. Roberts smiled kindly, his baritone voice reminding her of her late maternal grandfather's. "Just getting a cup of punch for my sweetie." He gestured to Miss Linda, so you stepped aside so he could get some for her.

"I would get it if I could," Miss Linda gestured to the cups with a shaky hand. "But my arthritis hasn't gotten any better, unfortunately."

"I'm sorry to hear that, Miss Linda... at least you have Mr. Roberts to help you, and your daughter, of course."

"Yes, Rosemary does help me out as best she can... however with two children and a third on its way, she has more then enough to deal with on her own."

"Oh, she's having another...?" You ask despite a dull ache taking shape in your mind.

"Well you know her husband has a high paying job at Ohio Edison, so she's more then comfortable staying home and raising them all. Granted, he does pull his weight where he can, which surprises me, cause this one-" she chuckled amusedly gesturing to her husband, "it took baby number three to make him willing to learn how to bathe, feed and change our youngest boy, Phillip."

"How's Miss Marlene?" You change topics, scanning the crowd for the sight of baby pink lipstick. "I didn't see her anywhere... is she doing alright?"

"Oh, she's just fine, Angie dear. She and her at-home nurse took their yearly sojourn to Winter Park, Florida; the cold weather being too hard for her cardiovascular condition."

You nod in solemn agreement, thankful to have one less person bringing you down.

"Oh, Angela? I'd been looking for you everywhere!" Aunt Eleanor hustled towards you, her pseudo-Jackie Kennedy tweed suit rustled with each step she took.

"The room isn't that crowded, Aunt Eleanor... I was just getting my boyfriend a cup of punch." You gestured to Yunho, who waved timidly. Even though he was far taller then her, the five foot two bundle of dynamite that is her Aunt Eleanor had scared him from their first interaction.

"Oh... hello, You-Know." She smirked and waved back, unwilling and unable to pronounce his name correctly. "I hope you're enjoying the party."

"Yes, it's- you've outdid yourself, Ma'am." He stammered as he finished the small cup of punch in one gulp.

"Oh dear, the punch is already getting low. Angela dear, could you pick up the punch bowl and follow me to the kitchen so I can make another batch for the guests?"

"Don't you have any of the staffers here who could help you?" You try to find any way out of this, but your uncle is too busy talking to the Polish club singers.

"No Angela. Katherine is hiding from me and the others are getting extra desserts for the table... besides, I don't want to get anything on this dress." She gestured to her powder blue ensemble as she looked up at you: her green cat-like eyes, pleading cloyingly.

"So you'll let me get punch on my costume then?" You mutter through gritted teeth as you hand Yunho your purse before picking up the heavy punch bowl, the cold surface numbing your hands.

"There's hardly anything in it now, Angela. It can't splash that high! No need for dramatics, Pumpkin... now, follow me." She hustled away the same way she arrived and, giving your apologies and a sympathetic glance to Yunho, you follow your aunt into the startling white kitchen, setting the bowl carefully down on the metallic prep table closest to the refrigerator.

"So, Angela... you and You-Know are still doing well, I see?" She asked thinly as she opened the fridge retrieving a gallon of orange flavored drink, handing it to you.

"His name is Yunho, Aunt Eleanor. And yes, we're doing very well." You answered back.

"That's a relief..." Aunt Eleanor couldn't sound less convincing if she tried, so you opened the gallon jug, setting the orange cap next to you as you slowly poured its contents into the bowl so 'it won't splash everywhere' to your Aunt's perspective. "Your uncle and I've always wanted what was best for you, especially after I learned that your father abandoned your poor mother for that ble-"

"That bleached blonde hussy who worked at the bank." You repeated back to her as the liquid filled the glass. "I know, Aunt Eleanor... Mom said those words so many times to me as a child I could repeat them as easily as I could count to one hundred. But you don't have to worry about me, Aunt Eleanor. What Yunho and I have is good, and I'm perfectly happy with him." Once the last drips of orange drink fall, rippling its smooth surface you turn the jug upright, cap the lid and take it to the recycling bin.

"You never can tell what a man truly thinks, Angela... a little birdie told me that You-Know had a girlfriend at that college he used to go to, and he still talks to her. Did he tell you anything about her, Angela?"

"Who in your circle would know about where he went to college, Aunt Eleanor? Don't believe everything you hear... if there was any previous girlfriend Yunho had before me, he would have told me before we started dating." You fold your arms and wait until she opens the freezer to take out a few muffin tins holding paper lined scoops of rainbow sherbet in their metallic wells, biting your tongue as the story your aunt told was only half true... the 'girlfriend' in question being his now friend, and current roommate Mingi, but that's a bridge she'll wait to cross once she gets there.

Taking two pairs of gloves out of a box next to the fridge, Aunt Eleanor hands you a pair and continues her diatribe. "I should hope so, since he should know about you and your, well... delicate condition."

"What do you mean, delicate condition? I get tested every year and the tumors haven't come back, and thankfully they were benign the first time. I am perfectly healthy, Aunt Eleanor." You grumbled as you pulled the gloves over your hands, the smell of latex making you itch before they even take their effect on your skin.

"Of course you are, Angela. I never said you weren't healthy; it's just that, since after that surgery, tragically, you're unable to give You-Know a child of his own. And I was merely concerned about you and-"

"His name is Yunho, Aunt Eleanor. It isn't that hard to say." You put your foot down before she can say one more word. "Just like you know I prefer being called Angie. My mom wanted to put Angie on my birth certificate since she loves that song from the Rolling Stones: her and my father first met at a karaoke bar when he sang Wild Horses for her on a dare. But my grandmother begged my mother not to put a nickname on my birth certificate cause I might hate it when I grew up. Just like she wanted me to be blonde, instead of having my father's hair color. But she was wrong both times, and I never knew her anyway, so there's no true loss for me."

"Angela Loraine, I don't know why you're being so mean to your family. I only want you to be happy, and he should be aware of your condition." She set the metal muffin tins down with a cold clank onto the bench. "And while he may love and care about you now, he just might want a child of his own someday... and what will you do then, hmm?"

"Yunho told me that whether we have children or not, he wouldn't change me for anything, Aunt Eleanor." You purse your lips, trying not to show any weak points like tears that could show that she was getting to you. "Besides, if we did want a child, we could always apply to adopt one: there are many parents who don't deserve to have children who lose them to CPS... maybe we could give one a home with a loving family they weren't born into."

"Your heart is in the right place Angela, but I'm sure You- I'm certain that he will want to see a little version of himself in any child he can call his own. Most men want that, it's in their nature." She pulled her gloves on and picked up a scoop of the frozen sherbet and quickly peeled off the paper lining. "We'd better move quickly with these before they start to melt."

She placed the crumpled paper next to the muffin tin before dropping the ball of sherbet into the orange punch, your eyes fixated onto it as it sank to the bottom of the bowl.

"So you're saying that Uncle Pete isn't happy having you as his wife now?" You eyes moved to look at her, frozen where you stood.

"He is, Angela... but his first marriage gave him the time he needed to have kids and the companionship he needed as a young man. However Miriam, God rest her soul, was no good with money, and didn't know her way around a kitchen if her life depended on it. He did love her in his own way, of course... but after he had properly grieved her death, he didn't want to be alone and wanted someone who could cook and was more frugal then she was. And luckily for him, he found me." You felt your heart drop as she continued working on another frozen scoop of sherbet, unwrapping and dropping as she continued her diatribe against your mother's late eldest sister. "Everybody has their specific person to make them complete, Angela. I wouldn't set your hopes too high on this one, just in case: you need to be more realistic."

"Realistic? You want me to be realistic!" The last straw had finally came, and you were livid. "So you're telling me that despite me being truly happy and loved by Yunho that I should always keep some seed of doubt in my mind about him, on the off chance he would want a baby in the future? And that the only way I can have 'true happiness' is finding someone else when I'm older so the need for childbearing isn't a primary objective for someone else? Well, isn't that a lovely picture you have of me and my future, Aunt Eleanor. If I knew you were that clairvoyant, you could have just told Mom to stay away from my father? I'm sure she'd probably be better off then she is now!" You yanked the gloves off, cursing under your breath at the red rash that started to form on the back of your hands.

"Angela Loraine, I don't know why you are being so hysterical right now, but don't you use that tone with me. I am your aunt and I don't deserve to be insulted!" She snapped as she grabbed the muffin tins and put them back into the freezer, shutting the door with a loud thud.

"Yes, Aunt Eleanor..." you lower your voice not to give her the satisfaction of claiming you were the perpetrator of this. "You remind me of that often, too. But I've been insulted enough by you for this evening, so I hope you enjoy the rest of the party. If I find Katherine, I'll direct her to you so she can help you with the punch. Oh, and though you probably already know this, I'll have plans for Thanksgiving this year, and don't expect to see me Christmas Eve either. Goodnight, Aunt Eleanor." You turn to leave as you hear her 'crocodile tears' when you reach the trash cans

"Angela Loraine, you cannot just leave me here. I need your help! What will people think of you leaving so soon?!"

"They'll think whatever you want them to think, Aunt Eleanor," you answer back coldly without looking at her. "Tell them I'm a heartless and rude niece if it helps you sleep at night. But it's amazing how you never call or reach out to me unless you need help with something that benefits you. Goodbye, Aunt Eleanor." You push the door open and make a beeline to your Uncle Pete, who was talking to Yunho at the dessert table.

"Baby, what's wrong?" Yunho asked, clearly seeing that something happened, but you refuse to look at him.

"I'm sorry, Uncle Pete, but I'll be leaving earlier then I thought I would." You gave him an absent-minded peck on his head, but once you looked at him, he stopped you with one knowing glance.

"Eleanor had something to say about Miriam, am I correct in that assumption?" His voice soft, yet firm.

"Among other things I won't divulge here, but yes." You felt tears coming up again, but Yunho quietly handed you your purse so you can retrieve your tissues.

"She's always been tightly wound, especially with this library job... and while she never means what she says, she rarely apologizes for any of it." He shook his head apologetically. "I'm sorry, honey. At least give me a call when you get home, so I'll know you two made it back safely."

"I will, Uncle Pete... and while I'll have plans for Thanksgiving and Christmas, I'll keep my promise in taking you to breakfast for your birthday." You wipe your eyes quickly, before tucking the tissue back into your purse with a smile.

"As long as the weather allows it, Angie. January fifth is a tricky time of year." He nods, pulling you into a warm hug. "Take care of her, Yunho, and she'll take care of you..." You heard him speak over your shoulder, causing a new outpouring of tears to spill from your eyes onto the lapel of his suit jacket.

"I will, Sir." You heard Yunho answer firmly as you felt his hand rest on your shoulder. As you step back from your uncle's embrace you remember something.

"If you find Katherine somewhere, have her help Aunt Eleanor with the punch... she can't do it by herself. Love you, Uncle Pete. Goodnight."

"Goodnight, honey... and I'll help her out." He chuckled sadly with another shake of his head as you and Yunho left the Madison House and took a silent drive home, no stopping for Chinese this time cause you weren't hungry.

----------------------

As soon as you locked the door behind you and Yunho, you threw your purse onto the couch. "Damn her! I hate the way she gets into my head." Dropping your keys into the aquamarine colored bowl on the entrance table they rattled against the ceramic, but you were unphased by the cacophony in your brain. "At least you'll get my mind off of all this, baby" You shakily sweep your hair to one shoulder as you fuss with the clasp before setting it down gently onto the coffee table where its box was placed earlier.

"Angie...?" Yunho asked, hesitation in his voice.

"Feel free to do whatever you'd like to me: just make me forget the living hell that was that party. Shatter me into pieces... metaphorically speaking, obviously." You ramble on, yanking the crushed velvet top off of you, static stinging the back of your neck as you let the once pretty blue velvet fall in a crumpled heap at your feet.

"Angie..." Yunho interrupts your spiraling mind, taking a seat on the couch.

"What, dear?" You stride over to him, the heels of your boots thumped along the floor before you sat next to him, unzipping one then then other before stepping out of them.

"Angie, could you talk to me about what happened? Cause I know you don't want me to do what you just asked." His eyes looked you over a combination of arousal but resolve to get to the bottom of what you and Aunt Eleanor fought about in the kitchen.

"Can't we just talk about it after, Yunho? Please... I need you." You place your hand on his thigh, and slowly move it up before his lace covered touch stops you from going any further.

"And I also need you, badly. But we agreed that I'd get the final say in what we do once we got home. And you called your uncle when we were at your door, so now what I want is to talk to you first, before we even think about sex."

You stare at him for what felt like five minutes before a low laugh escapes from somewhere you didn't realize still worked.

"Yunho, I had a feeling you'd punish me with this arrangement, however, I never imagined this." You slip your hand out from under his, turning to face him.

"We have all night, Angie. And since it's a Saturday, we could easily have Sunday morning too, if that's what you truly want." He leaned back against the light brown cushions of the sofa, that simple motion reminding you of a past 'movie night' where you completely lost interest in what had been on screen since Yunho had your undivided attention for the remainder of the runtime. "But I want you to need me for more then a distraction, and not tell me what you're going through. I want all of you, Angie: heart, body and mind."

Those simple honest words make the anger and fear melt away, and you have no words to describe this new wave of love and admiration you feel for the man in front of you, so you simply nod and say, "Okay, Yunho... we can talk." As you move to sit a little closer to him, he wraps his arm around you pulling you tight against him. Feeling some relief from the warmth he was providing you, since you were only wearing your skirt, bra and underwear, you proceeded to tell Yunho how your Aunt Eleanor compared you to your mother, how in some way or another she heard about Mingi (more or less) and that while her 'concerns' for your wellbeing and for you to be 'realistic' were the tipping point, insulting your late Aunt Miriam was the straw that broke the camels back so you had enough of her and had to leave.

Yunho sat quietly, rubbing your back as you spoke, but you could hear his heart rate go up as you told him the whole story.

"I never really liked her." Yunho finally spoke up after you had told him everything that transpired.

"I know, baby. And I won't be dealing with her anymore after what happened, and I know Uncle Pete understands, but..." you sigh in resignation, "I had hoped tonight would be perfect. I get to see you in this lovely costume, we'd enjoy the party, I'd ask you to move in with me when we got back and then we-"

"Angie, you were going to ask me to move in with you?" You heard him ask. He sounded nervous, but the smile you saw on his face when you looked up at him made your confidence slowly come back to you.

"Yes, dear. I had the spare key in my purse this whole time... I was lucky that you didn't somehow find it yourself when you got me those tissues. You can see it for yourself." You pointed to the purse that was wedged between Yunho and the armrest.

"I could, but I'd rather you get it for me." Yunho smiled sheepishly, but the devilish glint in his eyes showed you his true intentions.

"Fine, I'll get it." You smirked at him, giving him a pinch on his slim waist before leaning across his lap to retrieve your purse, giving Yunho the opportunity to slip his hand under the waistband of your skirt to feel what was underneath it.

"Angie, I... I could be wrong, but are you wearing lace panties right now?" His voice caught in his throat causing you to giggle amused by his reaction.

"Yes, dear... I am wearing lace panties: and I think I can feel how excited you are by knowing that." You feel a tingle down your spine as his erection pressed against your stomach. "If you'll let me go, I'll give you the key."

Hesitantly, Yunho lets go of you so you can sit up again, purse in hand. As you open the magnetic clasp you see him fussing with the cravat at his neck making you smile a little bigger. "Now whose the one anxious to get to the good part of this evening?" You tease him as you unzip the inner pocket of your purse and retrieve a silver key, holding it up for a moment before attempting to take his hand.

"It isn't that, Angie... I mean it is, but there's more to it then that." His dark brown eyes brightened once the cravat's knots were loose enough for him to undo and take off of him, setting the length of white ruffles onto the coffee table. "When I told you I had a surprise for you, it was the necklace I ordered, but it was a two part surprise. You didn't get to see that I was also wearing a necklace of my own... and it has the spare key to my apartment that I was going to give you when we got back."

You felt your eyes widen in disbelief until Yunho undid a couple of the shirt buttons, retrieving the black cord that was threaded through a slightly different silver apartment door key. Pulling the cord off over his head, his blonde hair rustled slightly as he took her hand in one of his, the feel of his warm touch wrapped in that pretty lace glove made her shiver with anticipation as he placed the key into the palm of her right hand.

"I love so much about you Angie, for many reasons... two of them is how well we know each other, and we don't think twice about what we want most." Yunho gazed at you, a look of love on his face you wouldn't want to see on anyone but him. "So, would you like to live with me, Angie?"

"I... I would love to, Yunho. Truly I do, but what about Mingi?"

"He already knows about you, but he said he'd wait to know what your answer is first before he knows when to start packing... what do you think, baby?"

"... it'll take me a while to pack up everything here, and I'll need to find a new storage unit-" you start to make a mental checklist until Yunho's hand touches your face.

"Is that a yes?" He asks, hopeful yet needy all the same.

"Yes. Yes, I'll move in with you." The excitement for this new step in your relationship tastes just as sweet as the kiss Yunho gives you, holding you close as you feel his hands slip down your back. The sensation makes you gasp with a need of your own, causing Yunho to chuckle at your reaction to him.

"Now that that's settled,"Yunho grinned as he pulled you onto his lap, scooting over slightly so you could straddle him, the section of lace between your thighs isn't doing much to hinder the feeling of his semi hard length now pressing against that sensitive area. "Even though I had planned to be the only one who'd get to take your clothes off, I'm willing to forgive you... if you let me put that necklace back on you."

You nod and say, "Yes, dear," as you reach over toward the necklace, laying cold and alone on the coffee table, picking it up and handing it to him. He takes one end in each hand and you lean in leaving only an inch between your face and his as his eyes shift slightly to the right to get the clasp hooked correctly and letting it fall once it does. He then adjusts the pendant to rest between your full breasts secure in the solid black fabric of your bra, before he continues speaking.

"If you like the panties you're wearing right now, I recommend that you take them off when we get to the bedroom." His hands slip back under your skirt from the bottom hem this time. As they slide up your thighs, a moan to escape from your lips.

"I will, Yunho... if you keep the gloves on. I need to knew how-" you gasp as his right hand inches dangerously close to your apex. "I want to know what you touching me would feel like with them on. Please, baby?" Your body aches as his one hand lingers between your thighs before slipping away, leaving you momentarily cold.

"Okay Angie, I will wear the gloves for now. But at some point, I'll need you to help me take them off because I prefer feeling your lovely body without my hands being covered for too long. Deal?"

"Deal, fuck..." you whimper as Yunho shifts beneath you, his hardness making you melt against his body.

"Patience, baby." Yunho murmurs, the heat of his breath grazing your cheek. "I probably don't need to ask, but it's better to hear it from you. Color?"

"Green, I- I need you so badly... I probably look so fucking desperate right now." Your chuckle becomes a moan as Yunho places his right hand around your neck, merely holding you so he can gaze upon your current expression. He holds you there in that moment, letting tension build with each tick of your hallway clock until he answers, brushing the side of your neck with his thumb.

"Yes baby, you look very desperate, and you make it look so fucking beautiful I don't know how well I'll be able to contain myself. So... will you need help getting up from the couch, or will you be alright without assistance?"

"I'll manage, yes." You answer quickly as he lets go of you, and you shakily move yourself up and off of his lap.

He then stands up slowly, and taking your hand walks you to your bedroom. Once he closes the interior door, you remember to take the lace underwear off from under your skirt, stepping out of them and dropping them into your laundry hamper.

Yunho watches you intently as he unbuttons his white shirt. "Leave the skirt and bra on for now, baby... I'll handle removing those when I decide to." Once the last button comes undone he starts to slip it off of his shoulders but stops himself. "Go over to the mirror and wait for me, Angie."

You almost protest but knowing better, you pad your way to the dresser and mirror across from your bed. You stand in front of the mirror and wait a few minutes before you see him, his lovely torso now naked in the reflection as he presses his body against you, the warmth of his arms around you again feel like bliss.

"Now, baby; I'd like for you to tell me a few things you love about yourself."

"Yunho," you start to beg, but one look from him makes you change course, returning your gaze to the mirror image looking back at you. "Alright, dear. I love how... the way my eyes look more hazel when I spend a decent amount of time outside in the sunlight."

"Good girl." That phrase alone is enough to make your knees buckle, and Yunho knows it: his embrace keeps you steady until you regain what's left of your composure. "What else, baby?" He whispers as his hands move from your waist up to your chest, then down your arms, chills covering what exposed skin has come in contact with those damn gloves, making it harder for you to think clearly.

"Um.... my-my hair, I love how it can hold curls, despite it being straight normally-shit!-" a sharp gasp escapes as Yunho unhooks your bra easily. He waits for you to continue before he takes it off of you, letting it hit the floor. "It-it's one of the better qualities I had inherited from my father." Your eyes search your half naked body for another compliment but the feeling of Yunho's hands cupping your breasts make your mind go completely blank. "Yunho, darling... do you expect me to keep going with this torment?" You look up at his profile, his full lips still wearing that sly smile as he focused on what he was doing to you in the moment.

"One more thing baby, and I'll give you what you want. You can do that for me, Angie." He assured you, planting a kiss on your cheek as his fingertips traced your nipples, sending a new flood of heat between your legs.

"Alright, Yunho. I-" you struggle to steady your breath as you recall one thing you are quite proud of. "I love that I have a better relationship with my body to be able to wear shorts or tank tops without worrying about the way my waist or legs look... and I'm quite proud of getting there, granted with some extra help from you, dear." The agonizing feel of Yunho' hands on your breasts lessen as they move down to your waist, turning you around to face him.

"How did I get so lucky to have you?" Yunho murmured before his left hand touches your face, lifting it gently up to meet him as he rewards your efforts with a kiss. As your hands move up the soft skin of his chest, your kisses grew in passion before another gasp makes you bury your face into him once you feel his right hand return where it was when you were back on the couch... but now, there was no lacy barrier between his touch and the slick heat between your legs.

"Fuck, baby." Yunho's low moan rumbled through your body as he teased your folds, his left hand firm against your cheek as you body spasmed from the heat that coursed through your body. "You feel so damn good, I need to taste you right fucking now."

Yunho pulls the skirt down off of your hips quickly, letting it fall as you sit on the bed, scooting back enough for him to position himself comfortably.

As his hands push your legs apart, you ease yourself down onto the mattress, before the feel of this kiss made your body tense up from how desperately you were for him to be that close and, from how eagerly he was pleasuring you, you knew he felt the exact same way.

As your hand reaches out just enough to touch his hair, he stops what he was doing and looked up at you; eyes dark from hunger, his lips shining from your wetness as he caught his breath, the cool sensation of his breath on you made your legs tremble slightly.

"Just look at you, baby." Yunho purred contentedly pressing a kiss against your right thigh. "Earlier you were so eager for me to fuck you mindless... shatter me to pieces, you said. Yet now, I have you so close to the breaking point."

"Y-Yunho, please..." you weakly protest, only for him to stop you.

"I'm going to take my time pleasuring you, baby. So keep your hands right where I can see them, and I will give you what you need. We have the whole night ahead of us, so all l need you to do is show me how sweet you taste when you cum for me."

You nod weakly, before he presses you.

"Use your words, baby." Yunho asks calmly as he kisses your left thigh, making you ache at the delicious sight in front of you.

"Yes, Yunho... please make me cum with your tongue."

"Oh, darling, you should know me better then that." Yunho sighs as the feeling of two fingers slide into you while his tongue slowly circles your clit: making your breath become ragged as your hands reach out for your pillow, thankfully it's close enough for you to grab onto its padded surface.

As you struggle with the intoxicating combination of his soft tongue and the sensation the lace is stirring inside of your heat, his dark eye take in the loveliness before him.

"Do you need your safe word?" He asks when he comes up for air again.

"No," you gasp for breath. "Just make me cum, baby."

"I will Angie," he whispered, licking his lips. "You've been so good for me, but be ready cause I want to cum inside this perfect pussy once you've had yours. Can you do that for me, baby?"

"Fuck, please?" were the only two words you could say in response before Yunho gives you the release you so valiantly earned.

Once you feel his fingers slip away leaving a blissful ache in their place, you struggle to pull yourself up onto the bed. Your legs shake precariously as you angle yourself, adjusting the pillow you clung to earlier so you can rest your head comfortably against its surface, the pendant digging into skin between your breasts, but you let it stay.

No sooner as you accomplished this feat, you receive a spank of approval from Yunho before he pushes his hard cock deep inside of you, making you moan louder then you're used to.

"Fuck- I've missed being inside you so much, baby." He keeps his thrusts both slow and agonizing.

"I missed you too, Yunho, please-" you struggle to speak clearly from exhaustion and pleasure.

"How much?" His words and continued movement of his hips make your brain short circuit.

"Huh? Wh-what are you asking me right now?"

"Tell me..." he paused between each thrust, making the agony way too palpable for you to handle, "just how much... you missed having my dick inside you."

"Damn it, sweetheart! You know my brain doesn't work when- when you're fucking me!" You gasp out as tears of lust-fueled frustration burn your eyes. "Just take your perfect dick- ahh, damn it, babe!- and fuck me til you cum! P-please, baby?"

You feel Yunho's body tremble inside of you before he says, "I fucking love it when you talk dirty just for me," before giving you and himself what you both needed most.

After this second orgasm leaves you completely spent, the bottom half of you sinks into the mattress, taking a moment for the room to stop spinning before you turn to lay on your back. As your eyes move from the ceiling to Yunho hovering over you: sweaty, naked, spent and still as fucking handsome as he was earlier, if not moreso.

"Angie," Yunho sighed as he let his body lay against yours, his hot sweaty skin now snug against your own. "I feel so cold when I'm not inside you, baby."

You're too dazed to respond with anything more then a slurred "Sssorry babe," as you feel his semi hard length slip back inside once again.

"I can't stay mad at you, darling." Yunho murmurs, giving you a slow passionate kiss, the taste of you is still present, now intermingled with his sweat. "Now Angie, help me untie these gloves so I can touch you properly."

You struggle from the post-sex high but you manage as best you can to unlace each glove, casting them to the floor as you feel him getting harder inside of you. After a few minutes of this soft and quiet closeness, you eventually admit to Yunho how much you love having his dick inside you, which you soon see the wheels in his brain start to turn at this pillow talk confession.

"You like having me inside of you, baby... maybe you'd like to keep me warm while I do a Spike Rush on Valorant sometime. It usually only takes eight minutes, twelve tops, and that be a nice starting point for you." His calm voice didn't match the topic he was currently talking about, which made your head spin more then the sex had earlier.

"Sweetheart... do you really expect me to be able to form a sentence-" you struggle to put together what he's suggesting in your mind- "with any coherence with your dick inside me? Fuck, Yunho... you must get off on shit like this."

"No, baby: I just love hearing you talk dirty that much."

"Well, I know I can't exactly speak for you, sweetheart, but I for one am definitely going to need a long shower and some kind of sustenance once we finish up whatever 'fuck-a-thon' you've been thinking about since this morning, probably...? Maybe?"

Yunho looks down at you before he starts to laugh at the situation you and he are blissfully in at the moment.

"Wow, I guessed it right... ding ding ding! What's behind door number three, Vanna?" You stifle a laugh of your own while Yunho cracks up on top of you, his sweet face and the adorable way he sounds making him too damn cute after what he had just been talking about earlier.

"Don't even worry about that, baby..." Yunho finally answers you once his giggle fit subsides. "I'll make sure to help you get cleaned up once we're done. No funny business, either. I can now happily say that the two of us will soon have as much time as we want to spend like this. No distractions, no drama, not even distance will be able to keep me from you." His tone of voice and the way he looks at you in this moment becomes more sincere. "I love you so much Angie Harrison... and I can't wait to spend every day next to you for as long as you'll have me."

"I love you too, Jeong Yunho," you smile closing your eyes as his forehead rests tenderly against yours. "I always have, and I always will."
