Work Text:
The university hallway was buzzing with the usual mid-morning rush, but Akito was currently operating on sheer willpower. Every time she swallowed, a sharp, throbbing ache radiated through her jaw.
She had gotten her tongue pierced the day before and had dragged Toya along as moral support, mostly spending the afternoon rubbing Akito’s back and offering quietly panicked comfort while Akito sat in the studio chair, questioning every life choice that brought her there. It hurt. It hurt so much worse than she ever anticipated. She looked miserable but beneath the pain, a stubborn spark of pride remained.
It was fine. It was totally worth it. Tsukasa had literally talked about how cool tongue piercings were a few weeks ago- or, well, Akito was 90% sure she had. Tsukasa talked a lot, and fast, and usually at a volume that blurred words together but Akito distinctly remembered the words "metal" and "striking appearance."
If Akito came to the university looking effortlessly cool with a silver stud, Tsukasa would definitely notice. And if Tsukasa noticed... well, that was the goal. Not that they were dating. They weren't. But a girl could have aspirations.
Just as Akito was thinking on how would Tsukasa compliment her later on, she nervously adjusted the collar of her heavy jacket, burying her chin slightly into the fabric to hide her tense jaw until a familiar, boisterous voice cut through the ambient chatter.
"Ah! Akito! Good morning!"
Speak of the devil. Tsukasa came striding down the corridor, her bright energy practically cutting through the crowd. She was a year ahead, technically an upperclassman, but she carried herself with the same dramatic flair as always.
Akito straightened up, immediately trying to look casual. She wanted Tsukasa to notice badly but there was no way in hell she was going to just stick her tongue out like a desperate idiot. Instead, she waited until Tsukasa got close, tilting her head slightly and speaking with a deliberate, agonizing, casualness.
"Hey, Thukatha. Headed to clath?"
Because of the swelling, Akito’s words caught slightly, the subtle slur betraying her attempts at sounding completely fine. It still hurt like hell, but she pushed through it.
Tsukasa blinked. She tilted her head, her yellow eyes scanning Akito’s face.
"Are you alright? You sound rather stiff today.." Tsukasa noted, a worried look taking over her expressions.
"Juth tired," Akito lied, she shifted her weight, rolling her jaw slightly and letting her lips part just a fraction as she sighed. Look down, she thought desperately. Look at my mouth, Tsukasa, please, before I pass out from the pain.
Tsukasa blinked, her brow furrowing. "Juth? Did you say 'juth'?"
Her eyes instinctively dropped to Akito’s mouth, trying to parse the slight lisp. As Akito opened her mouth to correct herself, the fluorescent hallway lights caught a glint of silver. A small, metallic barbell right in the center of Akito’s tongue.
Tsukasa froze.
Her gaze locked onto Akito’s mouth, her eyes widening slightly. She didn’t look away. In fact, she seemed to lean in just a fraction of an inch, utterly transfixed, trying to catch another glimpse of the metal against Akito tongue as she continued to talk. It was definitely a barbell. A real, metal piercing
Seeing the total shock on Tsukasa's face, Akito felt a wave of profound relief wash over her. Thank god. The pain, the throbbing, the money spent on the piercing was all worth it. Tsukasa noticed. Now, Akito just had to stand there, look cool, open her mouth slightly, and wait for the inevitable compliment or dramatic exclamation.
Yep. Just waiting.
Any second now.
...But nothing came. Tsukasa didn’t say a word. She just kept staring at Akito’s mouth with an intense, unblinking focus.
The silence dragged on for 3 seconds too long, thick enough to choke on.
Akito, feeling the heat rising in her cheeks from the sheer awkwardness of being stared at, suddenly feeling self-conscious. She shifted, her gaze darting to the floor, waiting for Tsukasa to say something, anything, about it.
But Tsukasa stayed silent.
So she snapped her mouth shut from the slight embarrassment, failing from trying to impress Tsukasa.
A momentary flash of pure disappointment crossed Tsukasa’s features, so fast that Akito who is currently distracted by her own racing thoughts, completely missed it.
Tsukasa’s brain was short circuiting. She wanted to see it again. She didn't even understand why she wanted to see it, but a sudden, hyper-fixated urge demanded she get another look at Akito’s tongue.
Realizing she was staring like a freak, Tsukasa quickly scrambled for an excuse, clearing her throat loudly and putting on her best star persona.
"Wait! Hold on, Akito!" Tsukasa blurted out, stepping a little too close, forcing Akito to stumble back slightly. "I... I think you just chip a tooth! An obstruction! A, uh, I heard a terrible grinding sound just now! And as a star, and your reliable senior, let me take a look in your mouth for a moment!"
It was complete, unadulterated bullshit.
Akito stared at her, a faint, amused smirk tugging at the corner of her lips. She wanted to laugh at how ridiculous Tsukasa was being, but laughing required moving her tongue, which was a hard no. Still, a wave of satisfaction hit her. Tsukasa was practically begging. Since showing it off was the entire point anyway, Akito decided to gracefully play along with the nonsense.
She hummed a low, affirmative sound and with deliberate slowness, Akito parted her lips and parted her teeth, letting her tongue slide out just enough to give Tsukasa a full view of the fresh piercing.
Gosh.
The effect on Tsukasa was instantaneous. The older girl’s breath hitched a tiny, involuntary sound. Her eyes zeroed in on the piercing, tracing the curve of the metal with a gaze that felt- cough- for lack of a better word, predatory.
The contrast of the silver stud, the way Akito’s eyes narrowed slightly as she did it... It was too much, Tsukasa’s hand twitched.
For a terrifying, split second, her fingers actually began to lift, hovering in the small space between them as if she were genuinely going to reach out and touch the silver stud resting on Akito's tongue. The raw intensity in Tsukasa's eyes made Akito’s breath catch in her throat, her heart hammering against her ribs.
Then, Tsukasa seemed to snap.
With a sudden, violent movement, Tsukasa used her left hand to violently smack her own right hand away. The loud, flesh-on-flesh CLAP echoed sharply down the corridor.
Akito flinched, startled by the sudden self-inflicted violence, and immediately pulled her tongue back in, looking at Tsukasa like she had lost her mind.
Tsukasa stared at her own offending hand, her face a deep, burning crimson. She looked desperate, like a person who had just been denied water in a desert. The piercing was gone, back behind Akito’s lips, and the sudden lack of it was making Tsukasa's brain wanting it more. She needed to see it again. She had to.
"We- we should not do this here!" Tsukasa blurted out, she glanced around nervously. A few passing students were already giving them strange looks and whispering to one another. "The hallway lacks the proper... lighting! Yes! Come, Akito, we must use the restroom mirrors to properly examine your teeth!"
Akito looked at her. Tsukasa’s chest was heaving slightly, her eyes wide, practically begging. It was completely ridiculous. If anyone walked in on them in the restroom later, it would look infinitely more suspicious than standing in the hallway. But Akito's pulse was racing, and the sheer heat radiating off Tsukasa was hard to ignore.
Akito swallowed down the ache, letting out a muffled huff that was meant to be a sigh, Akito nodded. "Fine," she mumbled.
Tsukasa didn't even wait. She grabbed Akito by the wrist with her grip surprisingly firm and practically dragged Akito down the hall toward the nearest restroom, leaving the confused onlookers entirely behind..
The bathroom door swung shut behind them, cutting off the ambient noise of the university hallway.
Akito stepped back against the long counter, stumbling slightly, her hips hitting the edge of the porcelain sink. leaning her weight against it until she was practically almost sitting on the edge of the sink. Tsukasa stepped right into her space, her back facing the row of toilet stalls, her focus entirely locked onto Akito. The atmosphere in the sterile, tiled room shifted instantly, growing thick and quiet.
Tsukasa took a shallow breath, her eyes instantly dropping to Akito’s face. "Right then!" Tsukasa said, though her voice lacked its usual booming theatricality, dropping into a lower, slightly breathless register. "Show me. Pull out your tongue again- I mean- open your mouth, yeah."
Akito rolled her eyes but complied, parting her lips and letting her tongue slide out just enough for the silver barbell to catch the harsh bathroom light.
Tsukasa leaned in, her eyes darting over the metal while acting like she's actually trying to look at Akito "chipped tooth". "So.... when exactly did you get this?" Tsukasa asked, her voice dropping an octave. "I have never seen it before.." she asked, genuinely bewildered.
Akito pulled her tongue back in, swallowing hard against the throbbing ache. There was absolutely no way she was admitting she had endured agonizing pain just yesterday because she thought Tsukasa would liked it. That's so not cool.
"3 months ago," she lied smoothly, her voice a little husky. "You juht never noticed."
Tsukasa blinked, utterly thrown. Three months?! How had she missed it? She usually kept a close eye on Akito. Well, admittedly, she sometimes found herself staring at Akito’s lips when they were talking, but she had never, EVER seen the silver stud before today. The thought that Akito had been carrying this secret around for months made something twist strangely in Tsukasa's chest.
She stepped even closer, the distance between them shrinking to mere inches. Tsukasa stared at Akito's mouth, the desire to see it, to understand it, completely overriding her common sense.
"Can I... touch it?"
The question slipped out before Tsukasa could stop it.
Both of them froze. The words hung heavily in the air, catching them both completely off guard. Panic flared in Tsukasa’s eyes, and she scrambled to cover her tracks. "I mean- to inspect it further! Obviously! Because... because perhaps I am considering acquiring one myself! Yes! A star must explore all avenues of visual expression!"
(She would absolutely never pierce her tongue, but desperation makes for bad excuses).
Akito’s heart did a violent flip. Internally, she was reeling. Sure, the piercer had touched her tongue, and Toya had gently held her jaw to get a closer look at the swelling yesterday. It shouldn't be a big deal. But Toya was her best friend. Tsukasa was her crush. Having your crush stick their fingers in your mouth was a completely different thing.
But... Akito looked at Tsukasa’s flushed, desperate face. She saw the way Tsukasa’s eyes kept darting back down to her lips, practically pleading. The sheer thrill of having Tsukasa this focused on her won the battle against her common sense.
With a stiff, nervous nod, Akito mumbled, "Fine. But wash your handt first."
Tsukasa blinked, breaking eye contact for a split second as if snapping back to reality. "Right! Of course! Hygiene is paramount for a star!"
Turning with a slightly frantic energy, Tsukasa slapped her palm against the soap dispenser and turned the sink tap on high. The sudden, rushing sound of the water filled the quiet room. She scrubbed her hands with agonizing thoroughness, her yellow eyes darting up to meet Akito’s reflection in the mirror, watching the way Akito nervously bit her lower lip.
Tsukasa shut the water off, shaking the excess droplets into the basin and quickly drying her hands with a paper towel. The air in the bathroom felt twice as thick now, the brief delay only making the anticipation unbearable.
Stepping back into Akito's immediate space, Tsukasa’s gaze dropped right back to Akito's mouth. Her hands were clean, warm, and slightly trembling.
Akito leaned her head forward slightly to give Tsukasa a better view. She opened her mouth and extended her tongue once more, giving Tsukasa full permission.
Tsukasa swallowed hard. Slowly, deliberately, she reached out. Her fingertips brushed past Akito’s lips, slipping into the warmth of her mouth.
Tsukasa’s fingertips were warm.
When she first brushed against the tip of Akito’s tongue, a mutual shiver seemed to pass between them. It was a completely surreal sensation. Touching someone else’s tongue was inherently bizarre, a sensory overload of slick heat and soft muscle that made Tsukasa’s heart lurch into her throat.
Driven by a sudden, consuming curiosity, Tsukasa slid her index finger just a fraction further inside, her nail clicking faintly against the top metal ball of the piercing.
The moment she put pressure on the barbell, a sharp, jolt of pain shot straight down Akito’s spine. It was a fresh wound, after all and the pressure sent a brutal ache radiating through her jaw. Akito’s eyes flickered shut for a split second, a muffled, involuntary groan catching in her throat.
But as the initial sting subsided into a heavy, throbbing pulse, the pain began to blur with something else entirely.
The physical reality of Tsukasa’s finger inside her mouth, tracing the metal, was overwhelmingly intimate. Akito’s mind went hazy, the sharp edges of the bathroom fading into a warm, dizzying blur. Her breath hitched, coming out in shallow, uneven puffs against Tsukasa’s skin.
Tsukasa could feel the tension spiking between them, the vibe in the bathroom shifting into something undeniably heavy. Her entire universe had narrowed down to this exact, hyper-fixated point. Which is the wet warmth of Akito’s mouth, the silver stud sliding beneath her fingertip, and the erratic rhythm of Akito's breathing. She kept her fingers on the metal, gently rolling it, playing with it under the guise of 'checking' it.
Tsukasa’s thoughts spiraled into territory that was decidedly not safe for kids. Her chest rose and fell heavily as she gently nudged the piercing again, watching the way Akito’s lips parted further, completely helpless to her touch. It felt incredibly private, borderline scandalous, and a dark, possessive thrill coiled tightly in Tsukasa's stomach. She wanted to push deeper, wanted to see just how much Akito would let her get away with.
Lost in the haze, Tsukasa finally let her gaze drag upward, leaving the silver glint of the piercing behind to look Akito dead in the eyes.
Akito was already staring right back at her, her eyelids were half-closed, her expression completely dazed and heavy-lidded. Every time Tsukasa shifted her finger against the piercing, Akito’s eyes would shut tight, a small, involuntary whine escaping her throat.
The sound shattered whatever restraint Tsukasa had left. In the absolute heat of the moment, caught in a fog of sudden, overwhelming desire, Tsukasa breathed out, "Can I kiss you?"
Akito’s brain completely short-circuited. What? Wait, what? The sheer audacity of the question should have made her pull back but Tsukasa was right there, her thumb resting against Akito's chin, both her index and middle finger still slick and warm inside Akito's mouth, and her eyes looking darker and more desperate than Akito had ever seen them. Melted by the intoxicating heat of the touch, any resistance Akito had completely dissolved.
She couldn't even form words. She just gave a tight, microscopic nod to Tsukaaa.
Now, any normal person would have pulled their hand away to press their lips together, but Tsukasa’s mind was entirely compromised. Instead of removing her hand, she leaned in and pressed her lips flush against Akito’s, keeping her finger firmly planted inside Akito’s mouth.
As Tsukasa’s lips closed over hers, her finger shifted, deliberately playing with the silver barbell, rolling it against the raw, healing muscle of Akito's tongue.
“Nnh...!” A muffled, ragged gasp tore from the back of Akito’s throat, completely swallowed by Tsukasa’s mouth.
A brutal, hot jolt of pure agony shot straight through Akito's jaw, so intense it made her knees buckle against the porcelain sink. It hurt. It hurt so incredibly bad. But the sharp, agonizing sting was instantly met with the overwhelming rush of Tsukasa’s lips, the deep, heavy rhythm of the kiss, and the intoxicating sensation of being completely dominated by her crush. The pain and the pleasure blurred together into a dizzying, chaotic mess, completely wiping out Akito's ability to think. Her hands gripped the edges of the sink until she could feel the sweat coming from her palm, her mind drowning in the haze.
Tsukasa kissed her hungrily, entirely caught up in the thrill, her finger still idly shifting the metal stud, making the experience beautifully, agonizingly intense.
But after a few breathless moments, the physical obstruction became too much. Akito needed more. She wanted Tsukasa's actual tongue, not just her skin.
Summoning the last shred of her strength, Akito reached up, her hand wrapping tightly around Tsukasa’s wrist. With a firm, decisive tug, she pulled Tsukasa’s hand out of her mouth, abandoning the silver barbell entirely.
Before Tsukasa could even gasp at the sudden loss of contact, Akito leaned forward, tilting her head to close the gap completely. She deepened the kiss, letting their tongues finally meet in a slick, bruising heat, it immediately brushed against the swollen piercing. A brutal, agonizing ache flared up, but she did not pull away. She refused to.
She was literally kissing Tsukasa Tenma. The girl she had pined over for months, the girl who usually occupied 80% of her thoughts during boring lectures, was currently pressing her against a university bathroom sink. The sheer, intoxicating reality of the situation acted like a heavy narcotic, dulling the sharp edges of the pain until it became nothing more than a thrumming baseline to the overwhelming pleasure of Tsukasa’s mouth.
Sensing Akito’s compliance, Tsukasa hands started moving down to grip both sides of Akito’s hip, and with a sudden surge of strength, she lifted Akito slightly, guiding her fully sitting onto the edge of the sink.
The sudden shift made Akito’s breath hitch. She hadn't expected Tsukasa to be this strong, nor did she expect her to be this dominant. Akito threw both arms around Tsukasa’s neck, burying her fingers in her hair and pulling her up, having to make Tsukasa tilted her head, surrendering entirely to the chaotic, painful, and perfect blur of the moment.
The cold porcelain of the sink bit through Akito’s leggings, a stark, freezing contrast to the overwhelming heat radiating from Tsukasa’s body. Tsukasa stepped in even closer, wedging herself completely between Akito’s parted thighs, anchoring them together.
The kiss deepened into something frantic and heavy, the tiled walls of the bathroom echoing with the quiet, desperate sound of their breathing. Tsukasa’s tongue moved with a sudden, possessive hunger, sliding against Akito’s with a rhythm that made Akito’s head spin.
Every single friction, every slick slide of texture against the fresh wound sent a white-hot flash of agony straight to Akito’s brain. It was a brutal, thumping ache, but the sheer bliss of Tsukasa’s mouth on hers, tasting faintly of caramel and entirely of Tsukasa turned the pain into something intoxicating. Akito leaned into the discomfort, opening her mouth wider, practically begging for more.
Tsukasa let out a low, ragged growl into the kiss, a sound that vibrated directly against Akito’s lips. Her hands, firmly clamped on Akito’s hips, squeezed hard, her fingers digging into the fabric of Akito's shorts. The sheer strength in Tsukasa’s grip was dizzying, she was pinning her down, commanding the space between them completely.
Lost in the haze, Akito tilted her head down, changing the angle to let Tsukasa drive the kiss even deeper. Her own arms tightened like a vise around Tsukasa’s neck, her fingers tangling desperately into blonde hair, pulling until there wasn't a single millimeter of space left between their chests.
Tsukasa’s tongue brushed directly over the top ball of the silver stud again, a deliberate, heavy stroke. Akito’s entire body jerked. A sharp whine fractured the quiet of the room, escaping her throat as her eyes shut tight, her hips involuntarily twitching forward against Tsukasa’s.
The raw vulnerability of the sound seemed to drive Tsukasa completely over the edge.
The heat in the room was reaching a boiling point. Tsukasa’s hands, fueled by adrenaline, slid up from Akito's hips, one hand boldly slipping under the hem of her shirt to press against the warm skin of her waist, while her other hand gripped the curve of Akito’s thigh, squeezing firmly. Akito let out a muffled, breathless sound against Tsukasa’s lips, her hands tightening in Tsukasa’s hair. They were completely lost in each other.
FLUSH.
The sudden, roaring sound of a toilet filling with water ripped through the heavy silence of the bathroom like a lightning strike.
Before either of them could even react, the lock on the stall door directly behind Tsukasa clicked loudly, and the door swung open. Standing there, adjusting her oversized cardigan and headphones, was Rui Kamishiro.
Tsukasa and Akito froze instantly, their mouths parting with a wet, breathless sound as they tore themselves apart. Akito’s arms were still loosely draped around Tsukasa's neck, and Tsukasa's hands were still firmly gripping Akito’s waist and thigh.
Rui stopped dead in her tracks. Her eyes widened, blinking once, then twice, as she looked at Tsukasa’s flushed, thoroughly messed face, and then to Akito, who was leaning against the sink with her hair messed up and her face smudge with Tsukasa's lipstick.
What followed was 2 seconds of the most excruciating, agonizingly awkward silence known to mankind. Though to Akito, it felt like an entire hour. The ambient hum of the bathroom fan seemed to grow ten times louder.
Finally, Rui cleared her throat, the sound incredibly loud in the small room.
"Uhm..." Rui stammered, stepping backward toward the exit while carefully keeping her eyes fixed on literally anything else but them. "You guys can... uh... continue whatever you were doing earlier. I’ll just- I'm just... I can go to the other washroom to wash my hands... aha..."
With a strained, incredibly awkward chuckle, Rui practically bolted, the heavy bathroom door swinging shut behind her with a definitive click.
The silence returned, heavier this time, thick with the lingering heat of what they’d been doing and the sheer embarrassment of getting caught. Akito’s tongue was throbbing intensely now that the adrenaline was dipping, the silver barbell feeling heavy and hot in her mouth. She looked up at Tsukasa, whose face was so red it looked like it might actually combust.
Akito swallowed hard, the movement sending another sharp sting through her jaw. But looking at Tsukasa's messy hair and dazed eyes, she didn't want to stop. Not yet.
Breaking the suffocating tension, Akito leaned in a fraction closer, her voice dropping into a low, slightly slurred murmur. "So.." Akito murmured. "You wanna continue this in the stall?"
Tsukasa’s brain was a complete puddle of mush. The fact that they both had lectures to attend in less than 15 minutes vanished entirely from her mind. The theatrical senior, completely captive to the dangerous vibe Akito was radiating, didn't even hesitate.
"Yes," Tsukasa whispered, her grips tightening and desperately.
Akito didn’t waste another second. Sliding down from the edge of the cold sink, her legs hit the tiled floor with a slight wobble, but her grip on Tsukasa never loosened. She grabbed Tsukasa by the lapels of her shirt and practically dragged her into the nearest empty stall, the metal door banging shut behind them with a sharp, echoing clank that locked out the rest of the world.
Before Tsukasa could even process the sudden change in scenery, Akito placed a firm hand on her shoulder and pushed.
Tsukasa stumbled back a half-step until the back of her knees hit the closed toilet lid, sending her dropping heavily onto the seat. She blinked up, breathless, her heart hammering against her ribs like a trapped bird.
Above her, Akito looked completely feral. Without a hint of hesitation, Akito straddled Tsukasa's lap, crawling directly on top of her. One knee planted on either side of Tsukasa’s thighs on the narrow seat, pinning the older girl down completely. The sheer dominance of the move had Tsukasa’s head spinning, her hands automatically coming up to grip Akito’s hips for balance.
Reaching down, Akito hooked her fingers into the collar of her own heavy jacket. With a sharp, fluid motion, she shrugged out of the sleeves, tearing it off her shoulders and carelessly tossing it over the side. It hit the dirty bathroom floor with a dull thud, completely forgotten.
Tsukasa could only watch in absolute adoration. The flush on Akito’s cheeks, the messy, unkempt sprawl of her orange hair, and the fierce, unyielding intensity in her dazed eyes.. It was the most captivating thing Tsukasa had ever seen.
Akito let out a heavy, breathless huff of air brushing against Tsukasa’s lips as she tried to ease the intense, throbbing ache in her mouth. She shook her head slightly, a dazed but fiercely determined expression locking onto Tsukasa's eyes, right before plunging them both right back into the heat.

extra:
Later that night, the adrenaline had completely worn off, leaving Akito to face the brutal reality of her choices.
Her tongue had swollen to nearly twice its normal size, throbbing with a fierce, relentless heat that made it impossible to even close her jaw properly, let alone speak. Every time she tried to swallow her own saliva, a sharp wave of pain shot straight up into her ears.
"Here," Toya sighed softly, placing a fresh ice pack wrapped in a hand towel against Akito’s cheek, along with a notebook and a pen. "Don't try to talk. Just write."
Akito slumped against the headboard of her bed, looking utterly pathetic as she took the pen. Toya sat cross-legged at the foot of the mattress, looking at her partner with a mix of deep concern and utter bewilderment. She had completely abandoned her own evening plans to stay in the room and keep her partner company, watching as Akito suffered in silent agony.
Akito scribbled furiously on the paper and turned it around.
It hurts so fcking bad. I wanna dir.
Toya read the messy handwriting and frowned. "I can see that," she said softly, her voice full of genuine sympathy. She reached over, gently taking the notebook and setting it aside shifting closer to rub Akito’s shoulder gently. "But I don't understand, Akito. It really shouldn't be hurting this badly. When you got your ears pierced, you barely even complained."
Toya looked at her with pure, innocent confusion. "Did you agitate it? Did you eat something solid?"
Akito froze.
Instantly, her mind flashed back to the afternoon. The dim lighting of the bathroom stall. The heavy, suffocating heat. The way Tsukasa had mess her up in many various way... and.. cough stuff. Her tongue repeatedly crashing into Akito's fresh wound with a desperate, bruising hunger. Akito remembered every single detail that had happened, and how she had entirely ignored her own body’s screaming protests just to pull Tsukasa closer, and letting the older girl completely ruin her for a solid hour.
A sudden, fierce blush erupted across Akito's cheeks, burning all the way down to her neck.
Yeah. They had basically spent an hour fucking in the stall.
She stared at Toya, the pen hovering in her hand. Should I tell her? Toya was her best friend, her partner, the person she shared everything with. But how the hell was she supposed to write down: 'Yeah, I let my crush aggressively make out with me in a university bathroom stall and she basically used my fresh piercing as a chew toy'? Toya’s would probably be shock from the sheer absurdity of it.
Akito fiercely shook her head, dismissing the thought immediately. No. Absolutely not. That secret was going to the grave.
With a stiff, slightly trembling hand, Akito took the notebook back and scribbled a blatant lie.
No. Js naturally swelled up more ig. Sucks.... :(
Toya sighed, entirely buying the excuse because she trusted Akito completely. "I see. Some people simply heal slower. Let me get you a fresh ice in the fridge."
As Toya stood up and quietly left the room, Akito collapsed back onto her pillows, letting out a miserable, muffled groan into the empty room. Her tongue was absolutely killing her, and she was probably going to be on a liquid diet for the next week.
But as she stared at the ceiling, remembering the dazed, desperate look in Tsukasa's eyes, Akito couldn't even bring herself to regret it.
