Starring out the front windshield of his car, tears stinging his eyes, blurring the road in front of him.
What was this fight about? Why did he storm out? He doesn’t even know anymore.
Where does he go now? Back to the apartment? Apologizes on his lips, if not in his heart. To his parents’ house, his old bedroom? Wouldn’t be the first time.
Or does he just keep going? Driving to someplace far away, someplace nobody knows him. No expectations, no obligations.
Turning up the radio to drown out his thoughts.
Live again and love again. They tell me.
