Alec and Jace are training on the roof. "Why do you hate Clary so much?" Jace asks genuinely confused. Alec didn't answer just kept fighting with him.
"Alec I'm your parabti I know when your angry." Alec sighs stopping the training and turns to walk away.
"Alec?" Jace grabs one of Alec's arm.
Alec closes his eyes and sighs. "Leave it alone." Alec said coldly. "Alec I've never felt you this angry come on talk me.... you know you can right?"
Jace was getting concerned because he's never felt this much anger or pain from Alec.
Jace knows that Alec rarely ever shows and share emotions but he knew Alec was letting him feel what he's feeling that means it's too much.
Alec finally looks at him stone cold making Jace startled. "Al-" Jace knew to shut up because the anger and pain he's feeling is overwhelming.
"Can I?" Jace then looks at him confused.
"Yea." Jace nods. "You sure?" Jace was getting confused he doesn't know what's going on only that Alec is in pain and angry.
"You see no I don't not anymore. Everyone wants lie to me then so be it I can't stop that from happening but don't expect me to be nice about it. It was drilled in my head everything I was taught it was all a lie my whole life was lie and everyone expects me to be ok after that. Well Jace I'm not I'm fucking pissed and hurt." Alec was finally letting it go.
"Jace do you really expect me to protect your girlfriend look I understand she was to save her mother but you also gotta understand what she's doing is getting all of you killed. I have to come along making sure none you guys end up getting killed. Jace you almost died because you wanted to protect her and her mundane friend who is now something else and Clary almost died because she didn't fucking have enough training if I hadn't come in time both of you would've died." Alec says cold.
Jace was getting mad but it's because he doesn't understand." She-""Yes!Jace! I know she wanted to do everything she can to save her mother but you'll end up dying! Do you not realize how dangerous that is! I'm always in your shadow I'm always the one picking up you're guy's messes and getting consequences for it! I'm the only one saving you're guy's asses all the fucking time! I have to repair the our name all because... look you love her good happy for you but sometimes love blinds you I don't know who you are anymore."
Alec then was about to leave until Jace grabs him tighter." That's harsh I do understand the danger I really do but... she needs her mom in this new word she hardly ever lived in." realization hits him.
"Yea she's new to the world that constantly gets you killed or have to kill others. She's new to the world that doesn't understand that fucking law. She's new to all this and if she doesn't stop this she's going to get killed before she can get to see her mother again that is what I'm trying to prevent happening. I'm trying to make sure she doesn't get killed before she can see her mother again and alive and loosing my parabti and my sister I'd rather all of us be alive and save her then actually die trying. "
Jace finally let's go of Alec shocked.
Jace still felt Alec's emotions." Alec... "Jace couldn't find the words.
"Don't you get it I'm fucking tired of all of it. Killing demons fine with me but getting ourselves killed before actually having to get chance at finding her mother I'm done trying because it's never enough nothing I ever did was ever enough my parents drilled that into my head growing up and never not once we're they proud no matter what no one ever listens to me Luke almost died to protect us Magnus almost used up all of his energy saving Luke had to use up some energy from me. Yet nothing matters just Clary the girl who came out of nowhere and not to mention our threats daughter why would I trust that trusting you is one thing but trusting her is another so don't expect me to pick up your messes again and be all nice and show up to fucking save your asses! Go with the girl you love and forget we ever existed. "
Jace had tears running down his face."but we do exist." Alec scoffs and rolls his eyes. "To you I don't because lately I'm a fucking shadow non existence." Alec was cold sending chills in his spine.
Alec turns around to see Luke, Magnus, Simon, and Clary standing there worried. He turns back to Jace who was crying. "Jace if you're gonna keep getting yourselves killed... Don't talk to me unless its mission related or you actually have a way of finding her mother but other then that I'm done with liers I'm done with being in the shadow I'm done with this screw everything screw all this." Jace couldn't talk.
Alec then turns to them. "Luke thank you for protecting us even it's for Clary I'm glad I was able to help Magnus save you. Magnus thanks for giving me a chance. Clary do some fucking training and learn some rules before you get yourselves killed or other people killed. Simon go talk to Raphael I know something is going with you your not a mundane anymore." Alec then leaves.
Jace can't feel Alec's emotions anymore it's like Alec turned them off which makes him whimper. Everyone was looking at Jace crying Magnus stared at the door Alec left in.
"What was that about?" Simon asks.
Clary goes to Jace." You ok?" Jace shakes his head no Clary pulls him into a hug.
Alec is in his room crying Isabelle comes in worried. "I'm weakening our parabti bond I can't deal loosing Jace..Izzy I can't do this anymore I'm done I'm tired." Isabelle sits next to him on his bed hugging him from the side.
Outside the Hall Magnus hears him and sees him through the wall. "Alec don't weaken it it'll weaken you guys just give each other spaces." his sister said.
Alec sobs hugging himself.
