Chapter Text
Spoke misses his brothers.
He hadn’t seen them in weeks. Purgatory sucked, Spoke didn’t know if they could survive another week in here. He misses when he could do whatever he wanted. Just him and Mapicc against the world. Now though, that wasn’t really an option.
God he hated Jamato. The bastard’s the reason they were even here in the first place. Spoke should have never even gone with Jamato in the first place. Who cares if he had blackmail on him, he’d rather Jamato reveal the truth than revealing the truth AND putting him in prison.
Like bro, what is that guy’s problem? Why can’t he just let Spoke live his life? Then again, what could he have expected. They can never live in peace because there is always some bullshit that just has to come into his life right when he’s at peace. So stupid…
Spoke sighed, breathing in the musty prison air. “I hate here,” They muttered, running their hand across the cell bars. It made a jingling sound, Spoke liked the sound. It reminded him of the bells Wemmbu would decorate his horns with when he they were younger.
Spoke missed those times, he smiled fondly at the memory. “God I miss him… I miss all my brothers… I wonder what they’re all doing right now..”
Spoke didn’t dwindle on the thought for long. Instead, they moved their attention to outside their cell, looking around to see if there were any guards. There were.
Spoke sighed again, walking over to the back of his cell and sitting down against the wall and closing his eyes. After a few moments, they opened their eyes again, a different type of look in their gaze. Not acceptance, quite the opposite actually. Determination.
Flame always said he was very stubborn, Spoke would always just grin in response. One thing about Spoke, no matter what happens to them, they will always find a way to get out of it one way or another.
He was going to get out of here and he was gonna get out of here soon.
No denying it though, it was gonna be difficult, Spoke knew that. But, they always did love a good challenge so maybe (just maybe), this wouldn’t be the worst thing ever. He just needed a plan, a good one.
Spoke knew Jamato was smart, probably one of the smartest people they’d ever met. Spoke however was smarter. Maybe not as smart as his very intelligent brother Parrot but, if he had to rank the intelligence of him and his brothers, they’d probably put themselves in second place. (ts is not glaze…okay maybe it is but like if you look at Wemmbu and Flame, you’d probably agree with me, okay? In terms of uu ofc, idk how smart they are irl 😭)
So for Spoke, he thinks he can escape PRETTY easily and when he does, well, let’s just say Jamato’s cooked.
