It was just I normal day, or at least that's what I thought it would be until I got the call asking if I wanted to audition for a role in Sonic movie 5. I said yes because I knew it was a big franchise and the pay was pretty big, bigger than I expected. I wasn't sure what I was getting into with auditioning for this role.
I heard of this franchise before and that it has quite a big reputation. I'm a gamer myself but usually the games I enjoy are Minecraft, Animal Crossing and Legend of Zelda. I never knew how big this franchise really was until I dove really deep into the lore like I always do before I need to act the roles.
When I looked up the character I'd be playing I started to hate what I saw. A princess kissing a Hedgehog? I needed to look even more into this when suddenly my phone started buzzing with loads of Instagram comments from my newest post confirming my new role I was auditioning for. People were going absolute nuts about it.
When I opened up the comments there were people saying stuff like "please no Emma, stay innocent" and "what do you think your doing wanting to kiss a CGI Hedgehog?" I then quickly go to check the script to make sure that scene is not in the script.
Once I saw the script I felt like gagging, my fans were right. I didn't know what else I could do other then quickly call up my Wednesday costar and best friend Jenna.
