Chapter Text
Talking Tom was looking through some of the old photos of him with his former friends, Angela, Ben, Hank, and Ginger. He looked down at the photos, remembering the days where he was kicked out of the garage after being framed by Roy, his friends siding with Roy and everyone had turned their backs against him. After everyone discovered the truth, he couldn't forgive his friends for everything, he had gave them numerous chances, they had broken their promises, befriended other guys that they just met, and that was the sign that he snapped at them.
He recalled storming away from the garage after snapping at his old friends, he didn't turn back since and here he is again, in the same city where he was abandoned like a mess underneath the sea. Tom was able to forgive some people, but not his old friends, Tom wanted to put the past away in the shelf but he rediscovered it when his wife Veronica had to inform him about her manager recommending her to move to his old city for a temporary job transfer, he wasn't happy about the news and he had to accept the news. Now, he is married to Veronica, the only person who actually understands him, and he has two children with her, twins, Asher and Andrea. Now, he is 40 years old, a stay-at-home father while his wife works, and he is happy without his old friends. He couldn't believe that he had to come back here to see their faces again.
Tom looked at one photo, it was Angela kissing him on his cheeks when the two were dating years ago, everything was going well for him during those days, his friends were happy with him, and he had a wonderful girlfriend who actually cared about him. Now, he is angry with them, he doesn't want anything to do with them anymore, and just as he was about to continue finding another picture.
"Honey, are you okay?"
Tom looked behind to see his wife Veronica, a Russian blue cat woman, sitting next to him with a concerned look on her face, aware of her husband's situation beforehand, and what he had been through all those years ago. Tom said to his wife nervously "Oh hey honey, yeah I'm fine. Just looking at some old photos."
"Babe, is it about your old friends?" She questioned, still worried about her husband's state of seeing his old friends again. Tom sighed, answering "Yeah... I just, don't know if I should forgive them... Angela understood me when I needed some understanding, Ben was like a brother to me, Hank also understood me, and Ginger was like a son figure to me. I was looking back at those days before Roy came to our lives and ruined everything. He destroyed my relationships with them and now, I'm still mad at them. I thought that I would forget about them, and now, I'm here."
Veronica has been aware for some time about Tom's situation, she hugged him and kissed him gently on his lips, reassuring him "I'm always by your side."
Tom smiled.
